Basically, it looks bad. If it looked like that in the show, then it would be accurate sure, but that doesnt stop it from looking bad. If you need a visual of what I think it should have looked like to be a Black Kamehameha, look up black lightsabers.

Omega was right when he said it looked bad, the show's version looks so much better, the entire beam is white with a purple glow and a black outline around the Kamehameha, the one in Xenoverse 2 looks awkward, in a way that the outlayer of the beam looks transparent when it should be glowing full purple, the inside of the beam should also have been enlarged in the sense that the white should have stood out far more and the glow around the beam should have been a combination of black and purple. Let's hope the DLC Goku Black will have a much better moveset.

I don't know why this move in the game is called super black kamehameha, while it's just a regular black kamehameha. Also it isn't even really accurate with the show since it starts of with a black core, but when it's fully charged the core turns grayish there.
To be fair with the attack it’s low ki usage and always seems to track your target like gigantic meteor and it can be peppered into any combo and normally takes a whole heath bar away

I really have to disagree about one thing. His sword move (the Aura Slide), it's meant to be like that because this is Black's base form, he doesn't use a big energy blade, it's a simple hand-dagger kind of length. The Super's effects also makes it clear enough that it's supposed to be HAND SLASHES, sort of how Kakashi uses his lightning blade, it's a hand-blade that he used at the start of the arc, it's meant to look small and discrete, precisely used for assassination. ANYONE that hasn't watched Super wouldn't understand who Black is, his Super is already flashy enough to understand that those are Ki slashes, he doesn't use a clear energy blade until he receives his Super Saiyan Rose. Also the Salza Blade looks (honestly) terrible compared to how it was in the show, a pink-ish burst of saturated colors, it's mediocre at best, but nothing spectacular like you make it out to be. The Salza Blade's moves make you look like a Water Ballet and it's not viable enough to use it during combos, you're open and prone to give your opponent enough time to dodge it. The spinning at the end also loses me as Salza (Cooler's underling) has never spun around like a complete idiot. He straight up slashed. Goku Black's Sword Moves seemed more fitting, it's also faster and comes out instantly, it makes it look far more brutal than a dancing sword move. The only thing we can agree on is the small lack of effect on Goku Black's sword, but it's meant to be discrete so it makes perfect sense. It's just weird that you seem to be one the only ones complaining about one of the best Supers he has.

He can only use the long energy sword in his SS Rosé form. He only used his energy blade twice in his base form. Once to kill Goku, Goten and Chichi and once to kill Future Gowasu. And for that it's perfectly accurate to the show as it looks just like Zamasu's.
I know you probably have a lot on your table with these moveset videos, but do you think you could do some videos listing the best supers and ultimates for custom characters? There's so damn many and some are just awful. I know I'd benefit from it and I'm sure other people would too. Thanks!
Well, I dont do PvP so it would just be for PvE. No idea how much overlap there would be. Plus my character uses ki blast supers so that is all I really concentrate on using myself. Though in general supers that have little to no wind up time are the best.
The biggest problem with xenoverse is the way they react to melee attacks,they either respond no corresponding to the angle of being hit or they react a second to slow
The core of the Black Kamehameha is black and whit when charging then just white when firing. The game does the exact same thing except it's all black when charging. I blame Toie animation for making it white when firing not the game
I think this moveset is perfect for Black Goku since he has tried to go as far to mimic Goku's movements and attacks in the show and his Energy Blade attack was used when he killed off Goku, Chi Chi, and Goten in the Alt. Timeline but if they'res any attack they need to have add then it's the Black Power Ball which he uses 3 or 4 times aganist both Future Trunks and Goku in the show and the one thing I'm dissapointed about Black is the fact that his stance is the same as Goku's and it's not unique like it is in Dragon Ball Heroes

According to an Interview I read, they created Goku Black for this game before he was in the anime so they had no anime cutscenes to work with. This is why he doesn't have Super Saiyan Rose yet, he's apparently still being worked on.

Why the hell is Super 17 playable, and not Baby. Baby was probably the best GT villain, yet he gets shafted in favor of the worst one IMO.
