    Luxurious Tintomara! Such a huge bush probably needs feeding? It is very interesting to know the ratio N-P2O5-K2O, unless, of course, you are not a secret))

      I just use a full strength balanced liquid feed (1-1-1) at every watering on all of my plants but in the winter they are only being watered about once every ten days. As I said in the video I have only watered this one about once a month over the winter. D

      @@thepagsociety Oh, what a small %. But our bloggers advise completely differently. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

      @@Tenia_B. Umm, I’m talking proportions here, not the amount. I said at full strength so balanced feed at maximum dose per watering.

    Мощный и красивый штамб! Этот сорт распространён в России, надо попробовать так же его вырастить.

    Amazing David. Is the Tintomara an Antik?

    • @thepagsociety
      @thepagsociety  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Just simply no. The Antiks are a specific type of long jointed zonals developed by the PAC group so it would have the Antik name in front of it. This Odensjo Tintomara is part of a Swedish group of zonals all with the Odensjo prefix. Most of them are strong growing dwarf zonals that can grow fast as this one does. They are much shorter jointed than the Antiks and consequently have a bushier habit. D

    Thanks for the photo of the plant blooming in summer. Outstanding! I’m interested in following the progress of your “baby” standard Charity. It does have an especially beautiful leaf pattern and color. When you pot up is the potting medium slightly moist even in winter?

    • @thepagsociety
      @thepagsociety  Před 7 měsíci

      Very slightly yes but I am only starting to pot up now and do not pot plants in the winter. D

    My goodness your Tinto Mara plant is just so beautiful... Thank you for sharing the upkeep in the middle of winter. What do you mean by chronically dry? How many days, or weeks without water? I am just afraid they will not survive... SO thank you for all the info. I believed I have seen "most if not all" of your videos.. You are so very kind... From the USA... Thank you!!!

      Thanks very much for your kind response. I’ve been watering it a little about once a month. Some zonals just seem to be able to tolerate less water than others. Some really droop down their leaves if they get too dry even in the winter.

    Would it be bad potting up to a big pot all in once or is it better to go up in steps?

    • @thepagsociety
      @thepagsociety  Před 7 měsíci

      At this time of year you need to do it in steps. In the summer you can go big in one hit but just go careful with the watering. D
