    • @iamalicia
      @iamalicia  Před 7 lety +122

      Hi, No your roots doesn't make a difference when regarding parting, it's Technique :-) It's definitely about the hair being detangle thoroughly! Make sure you detangle with a wide tooth comb and if your hair is super thick try stretching the hair when parting and also use the thinnest rat tail comb to achieve a clean part. Hope this helps!

      If you mean synthetic braids then it might be a chemical they use to preserve it or something. After you braid it, spray thoroughly with a vinegar and water mixture and then rinse out. To keep the style neat when you're rinsing, you can put a stocking cap on and gently massage a diluted shampoo into your scalp, through the stocking. For canerows i use a regular stocking cap. For box braids i have cut the legs off an old pantyhose so I separate the braids into two sections and stick each through a leg hole with the cap on my head. Just focus on the scalp and your diluted shampoo mix will run down through the braids and rinse out the vinegar. Same technique with conditioner after. Hope this helps you like it did me :)

      Deadpool's Bae Hi 👋🏾 thanks for subbing! Make sure the hair is well conditioned. Two textures are a struggle at times when it comes to detangling. So use a wide tooth comb when doing so!😊 Hope this helps!
