this video is an absolute game change for be as a self taught beginner braider! my parts are clean but often take super long to get that clean, this technique saves so much time
Do you have tips on middle parts or doing half up half down? Asking cause some people hair is super hard to part even after being blown out. I can do hair but I feel like my parts can be a lot better

Thé thing is blow drying the hsir is great but eventually causes thinning so use heat protection spray or gel before heat and then style hsir. Wouldn’t recommend always blow drying cause it will thin your hair out eventually so make sure to deep condition and moisturizer

Thank you. This is the comment I was looking for. I just wouldn't do this on the regular, or as intensely. I blow my hair out, for detangling, but not to the point that it's actually dry.
Duuuuude. Amazing. I don't know if i have a weirdly shaped head but ive had so much trouble getting a straight part. All the other parting tips or tutorials just say the obvious. Im like come on you tube, i wouldn't be looking this up if running a comb through my hair worked lol.

I can braid but my parts are trash. I’m going to try this.
I've braided my mother's hair twice so far, & I've had this same problem both times. One thing I have noticed is, I haven't been practicing w/gel.🤔Each time I braided my mother's hair, she would tell me that my parts aren't clean. So hopefully when I start using gel & I keep practicing a little bit more, then maybe I'll be able to achieve the perfect parts that I'm looking for. Thank-You for this tutorial. It was very helpful.🥰🙏🏾💜

Do you start the braid as close to the scalp as you can? That really helped me with my braids
But I’m not really that experienced my mom just told me this when I tried the first time

Idk if I'm bad at parting or if loosing curl patterns are harder to get precise parts.
This has helped me soooo much. I braid my kids’ hair and they’re mixed, but they have completely different textures. My oldest has such thick and coarse hair, it’s hard to part easily just with the pic and shine jam. Now Ik to go over that part again after I put the shine jam in. Thank you so much!!!

Hey this isn't my place to say this , but I noticed the little girl had some gray hairs and a bit of hair fallout on the edges. Im a teenager and had the same thing. I went to a doctor and found out that the reason for that happening was a vitamin D deficiency and after i got my vitamin d levels right my hair bounced back. Im sorry if saying this was out of line but i thought it help💜

The middle of the nose up will get your part smack in the middle

I have thick strawberry blonde hair and I have such a tender head without even doing anything to cause it like up dos or pony’s. I’ve had it cut and thinned but no help, I also have 4 cowlicks/whorls and no hairdresser has ever parted my hair through the cowlicks. Three are around the crown and 1 is at the front of my face with a little whorl curl too. Plz help me part my hair!
