Except New Plymouth has more sunshine hours, sunniest place on record for a month on record as well, all that combined with a regular rainfall so no summer irrigation required. Dairy farm paradise. Check the stats. And I'll add, love Whakatane as well.

Kia ora - you're not wrong, New Plymouth did have more sunshine in 2021, but when this particular campaign was created, Whakatāne had the #1 spot :)
