For some reason I would really like to see the Tau fighting the deathkorps. The contrast between the sci-fi Tau and the ww1 asthetic of the Kriegers would be a sight to behold.

Hmm, i think B. I would like the XV25 stealthsuit next. But i would take every tausuit over a ultralight- or protomech. On the other side, i dont like the tau. They have no icecreme. The closest to something like that the tau have is frozen fish and this is unacceptable.

10:46 Unable to identify who is calling fire down on them? Tf are they fighting, primitives with bows and arrows? Radar? aerial reconnaissance? satellite imaging?seismic imaging? standard heat vision?
You cannot fix stupid! Star trek , under Roddenberry was not science fiction, it was speculative fiction. one of the reasons it became iconic.
It played with what was theoretically possible. It asked for suspension of disbelief, not turning off your brain like an idiot.
My main objection to broadside battle suits, is the same as with the titans. BIPEDAL! No stability , no ability to compensate, a nice tall target for enemy artillery or air forces (i don't care what thingummany you "equip " them with, someone somewhere is gonna find a counter for it. its the nature of armaments) that can't move at any significant speed.
Tell me you have super human mutants in there , or daemons, and i withdraw all objections.
Do not tell me you have unaugmented bipedal lifeforms as pilots. I know they wont survive the stress.
An-augmented flesh, can barely survive the forces of a ground car collision. With horrific injuries, but it survives . That is when surrounded by a vehicle which is sacrificed to protect the passengers.
There is fiction , then there is dumb fiction. Like forgetting an astartes armour provides 360 vision, and have an armour wearing space marine stabbed in the back; like he was a garden variety human.
