Double Jump is easily the best video game store I've ever bought from. I'm not even from the U.S and over the years I've been to so many great stores, but you guys always go the extra mile for your customers. My last order from you even had a little message from Abbey saying thank you for ordering which is such an amazing little touch. Also, as I live in the U.K. I usually get ripped off with international shipping from companies across the pond but not with Double Jump. Very reasonable as I know you guys just charge the amount to the customer as you pay yourselves. Thank you, Double Jump. Keep being the best and carry on providing an amazing experience for your customers. You guys rock! ❤
Crazy that you touched on the efforts you guys take to clean everything, I've recently been lamenting how little (read: no) effort the stores local to me put into cleaning up their inventory. In fact I specifically references DJVG during that conversation.
Ive never been to your store since I live in a different state but from the sound of it you definitely will have one of the best video game stores in the entire United States.
I know you'll have a bunch of Roku (ha, Avatar) TV's. But I hope you guys do keep CRT footage playing somewhere too,m so the youth can experience what it is like. Definitely adds to the authenticity of retro. Also, thanks for helping clean games and maintaining e health of the games themselves, no matter where they came from and where they are going. THAT should be a huge goal of retro game shops. Conservation of the hobby!
Random question, but where do you get those controller bags? I don't even know what they're called and none of my wholesalers have them. I bought the removable stickers for my store because I saw how good yours were. I even put the labels right to the edge of the cases, so it's easier to get started on peeling them off. Most people don't care, but many collectors really appreciate it.
I can't wait till the new store! It's going to be sooooo cool. You guys might have to get walkie talkies or something with how big it's going to be. You won't be able to see each other as easily with it being so big.
To be one of the best requires a lot of daily training.. to be able to see.. when block.. ..when dodge.. when run.. when rush.. and then use of beta energy.. and then lot of rotation .. and again learning something new action that you missed in a lot of previous ones.. for example.. retribution 🙂(daily diary of unknown ninja..)
I like watching. Your videos,the way your store looks, and you and your workers seem like great people. My only complaint is your website and ordering system online is glitchy, can be slow, and can be a little difficult to use. Other than that I would give your store, crew, inventory , and , website a 8.5 out of 10.
Don’t worry, the entire Website is getting a facelift when we switch to our brand new inventory system! That should resolve all of the issues we have been having with the website.
What removeable labels do you use? I paid a bunch for some for convention season, and now I'm trying to remove them, and they remove easily but leave terrible residue. I'm sampling some others, but I would love to know which ones you're using since I know they are solid.

Cooper you have the type of store with employees that are knowledgeable because they are also gamers. Why would anyone go to a big box store because its awesome to be able to chat and hang with your own at a small business?
From the stickers you use, to the cleaning, to the fair prices, trades and much much more, the reason why I will always choose your business over many others is the obvious obsessive compulsive attention you guys pay to ensure great customer quality and customer support above ALL else. That is the very key to success. I’m excited for the grand opening, and cannot wait to see DJVG inevitably grow more & more as the years go by. Keep it up, peeps 🫡
I get so tried of people crying about madden no one forcing for you to buy the game if you don’t like it don’t buy it and yes it’s football it’s a sport yes it’s going to be the same with upgrades every season upgrade roster so on so on
