Thank you. I’m researching Macon as a possible city to move to from Florida. I appreciate you making this video. It’s the best one I’ve watched so far.
Glad it was helpful!
Became a Catholic @ St. Joseph's Parrish featured here. Really good memories of that congregation and their pastors & priests. Father Cuddy comes to mind.
Really beautiful church, thanks for stopping by!
@@dashcamtravelsusa I lived in Warner-Robins in the late 70s, there was talk then of whether St Joes would last as apparently it's one of two churches in the USA that sport that gorgeous round stained glass window!
This Yankee became a Roman Catholic in a sea of Southern Baptists (💁🏼♀️ boyfriend was Cat, y'know,) sad to hear Macon is in such decline but the worst of segregation lives there which is my answer to their situation.
While at St Joes our lil guitar mass band sang for the home for the blind which was a statewide institution ( still around?) for Christmas. I was a jock on WRBN-FM when both Elvis and Lynerd Skinners band crashed.😳. Worked Houston County Hospital in clinical lab. Very interesting 3 years in Georgia culminating with a stint at Emory University in clinical lab & pulmonary medicine. Missed my peeps, moved home to Chicago~
