- Our second episode marks our entrance into South Africa as we explore a very big, very diverse, and very beautiful country. If you follow me on Instagram @captainpotter you’re already familiar with what's in store for you here as I'm sure you've seen the "South Africa" series I made with my friends at @Corona.
I was so proud of that series and so in love with the stories we told I wanted to make what could, more or less, be considered extended versions of those films we made. So that's what you can expect from these episodes. A jam-packed adventure with all the life, laughs, and lessons I was unable to fit in the Corona series so many loved!!
In this episode, “The Wonderful Witch of the West” we explore the breathtaking lands of the Western Cape and introduce you to my dear friend Roushanna Gray, a wild food forager who’s learned how to track her edible landscape through the seasons. Together we dive through kelp forests, climb mountains, pick mushrooms, and cook up some of the most incredible meals I’ve ever had with a fantastic group of new friends and old including @ChelseaKauai and @itskoasmith

I'm 22 and have dropped off the radar temporarily and living in the heart of nature, reconnecting and disconnecting from society. Living a more tribal/wolfpack existence that feels so much more simple, authentic and intentional. I thought travel was the only way to really expand however I'm realising there is so much to be learnt when grounded (at times). Thank you for sharing and capturing all this beauty! It's amazing that you're young and advocating active exploration in a world where we're all being brainwashed and told that real happiness is something material that needs to be chased and possessed.
