I don't think anyone realizes that Joe didn't contribute shit to Chevelle, it was all Pete and Sam. He didn't care about the band, he learned the songs in the studio, was absent during the writing, and only played the live shows. They would've broken up back then had they kept Joe.
yeah. their brother/bassist--Joe. He quit. Or was fired, or something like that and was replaced by their brother-in-law, Dean...who keeps his shirt on while he plays live...a nice change of pace, I might add.
funny, i imagined Pete having a pretty macho speaking voice. it's so weird hearing that instead of his amazing rockin' singing voice. it just doesn't fit. they all seem like pretty sweet guys tho. i'd like 2 meet them one of these days. Chevelle rocks!
@Chevellefan01 - Dean is amazing, and family too. But, I know Joe felt forced out. I know he went back and forth on whether to stay in the band, and also to tour with Chevelle. He was committed to Kat and his roots kept pulling him back. I also know he still feels betrayed, and has not spoken to his brothers since he left the band. I guess in the end, it doesn't matter who quit, who stayed, and for what reasons. What I do know is a band named "Chevelle" tore a family apart.
only a couple songs, most of their older stuff was in B with a few in A# and C#, nowadays they mostly use C from what I know, although I haven't listened much since hats off to the bull
Joe may have been a better bass player but the band would have self destructed if he'd stayed in. Even Dean is pretty good and they're still worlds ahead of most of crap around today anyway.
I work with Joe now. He's the coolest guy and it sucks that he was kicked out. Pete and Sam come in sometimes, they're good people but it was very shitty of them to kick him out.
Not really, rock’s last “hoorah” was around this time, circa mid 2000’s. A lot of people were listening to rock and metal around that time. So called “rock” bands like Imagine Dragons, Kaleo and awolnation are what killed real rock music going into the 2010’s. Rock is alive in the underground but mainstream? It’ll be alive again one day, just don’t know when.
I seen that also, look @ 5:11 they totally cut his reply. Big companies like (fuse) dismiss critical thinking. Also this interviewer is totally fake. *crosses eyes*
tell them tht i is their biggest fan! and i love emmm all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woooo yea and tell them if i could smoke em out one day i would be honored! with snoop d-o double jizzzzzle
I really like Chevelle, but it sucks that Sam and Pete kicked Joe to the curb. Family is better than fame, and it's pathetic that Pete and Sam are still holding grudges after all of these years. Sam, Pete, and Joe made Chevelle. It's too bad Sam and Pete forgot that.
I miss these kinds of shows, when we could see bands like chevelle doing interviews and premiering videos, what has television come to :(
Keeping up with the Kartrashian’s

Joe's smile is so captivating

*looking back on this comment after they have released a song called self destructor 12 years later*
Sou fã do Joe loeffler, pena que ele saiu da banda, acho que a banda não foi mais a mesma sem ele...
Pois é mas a banda ainda produz bons discos, Ps: olha a data desse vídeo kkkk

Rot Still work with him?
haha Pete in 2:38 - 2:40
"Yeah yeah yeah."
Rock bands were struggling then and its even worse now... it will make a comeback though. Grunge and punk will have their day again!!!
No they won’t. Rock has died in favor of music representing popular culture. Rock isn’t “cool” anymore.

@kulbeanz69 i liked their older stuff more too. i realy miss joe
wow i know 4 bands that have brothers in them
yeah, but in a way they're all still brothers 'cause the guy they have now is their brother-in-law
they replaced him with a half brother
Why the hell did he get cut off @5:11? Once again critical thinking goes out the window. Thanks Fuse.

did their lineup change? if so...I wonder why.
Why does the guy with the glasses answer all the fucking questions, Pete is the main guy, the singer. -.-
Breach Birth
where do you work? is it true he works at starbucks? Are they still kinda douchebag's to each other, or have they matured?
this vid quality sucks!
SAM is kinda annoying.
