Also she didn't shoot their leader when she got the chance and mad dogs didn't attacked him AND they spawn in Oblivion just under the axe of Mehrunes Dagon himself. It ain't The Elder Scrolls if the protagonist isn't a prisoner in the beginning.
You do start as a prisoner in ESO, in the main game at least, I'm not 100% sure about each of the expansions
So Daggerfall isn't Elder Scrolls?
@@darron13 I haven't played all of the expansions yet but most of them do a prisoner beginning of some sort. In Vvardenfell you are captive of slavers, Summerset has you trapped inside a mind trap. Elsweyr is the only one that I played that does not have that.
@@Danjen3ify lol was meant to be a joke cause TES always uses that Prisoner allegory. Haven't played Arena and Daggerfall in my whole life so I didn't know
@@vittxrio5198 Arena and Daggerfall are different, indeed. From then on you always start as a prisoner. Even though your prisoner status in Morrowind is a facade planned by you and the Emperor.

They should! Cause nowadays i dont have the time to get fully immersed in a game so i dont feel the need to invest in a game. But after watching a cgi series of a game it might just spark my interest in investing time. Like recently i just binged watched game of thrones and then i played tf out of ac:odyssey put in about 60 hrs in a week periodcause i took 2 weeks off from work. But i just started working again so i lost the immersion and havent felt like playing it nomore. It was fun while it lasted
For some reason, MMOs usually get the most cinematic trailers.
I'm guessing because unlike other modern games you'd have a much harder time selling it off just the in-game visuals. Here you get these action packed scenes that bear no resemblance to the actual gameplay.

Well the cinematic actually are suppose to make you have a feel of what is going on in the story. Zenimax does show of gameplay well they did during the life a event and they will show off more as we get closer to June as they always do
Probably because most MMOs have to compensate for being held back graphically. The one exception being Black Desert Online, and even they had performance issues for a long time before they solved them in the process of porting it to consoles.

No game, not even today, looks just the same as their cinematic trailer counterpart. Technollogy hasn't reached that amount of power yet.

If the gameplay matched the quality of these cinematics it would require high end computers and would drop the game’s reachability all together. Lowering the playerbase by a large amount coz not everyone can afford a super computer. The current graphics are great and they can be play even on a 4GB ram laptop.
Everytime I see one of these trailers I go and play the game, and minutes afterwards I'm logging off again.

I absolutely love the world and the exploration but the combat is among the worst of all MMO's imo. I'm just waiting for the day when they announce they overhauled the entire combat system and I'm game.

Recently started playing on ps4 and I'm blown away. Take your time and start the main quest. Read as many books you come across in game to really appreciate the lore.

Things people need to understand
1. The series isn’t called Skyrim. The series is called The Elder Scrolls. So no there won’t be a Skyrim 2.
2. Zenimax Online Studios developed Elder Scrolls Online not Bethesda. Stop asking Zenimax Online Studios when Elder Scrolls 6 comes out, ask Bethesda.

I really hope they make an Elder Scrolls movie series one day. It could potentially be in the same level of epic as LOTR, at least for me.
