The roar of Ferrari V12 is like that of a Lion, while roar of AM V12 is like that of a Tiger.
This is the gold standard when it comes to Aston Martins for me. This and the Vantage from that era. Absolutely beautiful designs and they sound amazing.

This car is special and in its own class. NA 12 cylinder with 6 speed manual and luxury appointments throughout the cabin. Just a nice place to spend time. They only made around 900 of these worldwide and only 240 sent to the U.S. Timeless.

Thank you for posting this. I will def watch this again and again. This is my fave aston. Personally i find it the last aston that looks beautiful. I know it doesn't do 0 to 60 in 3 seconds but when you drive this car its about doing it in a dignified manner. The cabin lay out is also the best for me. No high tech screens all over. Plus it's a manual.
I wish all the onboard videos were so detailed like this one. Congrats!

Asides from the lovely sound and looks of this thing, that is a nice interior. Sure there’s even nicer cars, but from what I can see in this video it seems to have top notch materials. Now the piano black center console might be a bit controversial but I can look past it

You’re right, It’s by design. Dbs is more of a gt car than a canyon carver, long gearing is better for its purpose.

The rear "seats" are not supposed to be used in the market this car was made for. There are no seat belts, and they have put those barriers on. In certain markets with less strict automotive safety regulations, they would install the belts, and "activate" the seats. The honda CR-Z is like that, too.

@@crispybacon420 would be a lot cheaper to buy a viper than this. these are about 140k used. can find vipers for 60-100 all day
This or a Ferrari 550 is the perfect aspirational car. A front engined, manual, V12 GT that handles like almost supercar like. I can’t think of any other cars that have all of those ingredients.
perhaps a manual converted 612 scaglietti or 599 GTB
I agree with you, this is my favourite GT. In my opinion, the last true Ferrari GT was the 575, after this they were just front engined supercars posing as a GT
@@graygamingps4503 there is definitely something of a supercar about the 599. not especially the standard GTB But certainly with the HGTE equipped 599s.

I use both the mirrors and a look. You should always look to make sure someone isn't in your blind spot ESPECIALLY in an unfamiliar car.
@@TedwardDrives with the side mirror it should reach you to see up to three lanes, turning your head and losing your front sight is very dangerous
@@jorgear6517 That's how I learned how to drive, by using the mirrors and also looking behind me when merging.
I can see myself owning one of these, and it's not good
