Just to update everyone, I was never able to "break in" the beta 3's enough to stop giving me blisters. This is likely due to the heel cup being constructed of carbon fiber, which will likely never "break in". I think they will either work for you immediately or they won't. I loaned them to 4 different people until someone didn't get blisters, so he got a nice pair for free. I am still using the classic 3's from this video and will be posting a long-term review shortly!
We took a pair of pliers to work the Beta heel over in for a couple hours and loosened the material significantly. Not recommended but better than cutting a whole in the heel which was going to be our next step.
I loved the beta 3s until they kept giving heel blisters like you said. I’m thinking about getting the classics as a replacement. Is the sole the same (I didn’t like the arch support in the beta soles so I replaced them w flatter soles) and the sizing the same? Also I’m thinking about getting some armaskin socks, I currently wear trusox
Just got a pair of Neo 3 Betas non Japan and got both of my heels injured within 30-40min. Been trying to find a close match to Magistas for ages now and they did feel great except the blister problem. Most likely will have to tape the heels or add some patches inside the heel to avoid blisters in the future.
I saw the previous video and found this update on blisters, I think this is helpful, as I have the same issue with my Mizuno Rebula v2, wore them for 15 minutes and got really bad blisters on the right feet, left feet not as bad, so tried them the 2nd time changed boots after 5 minutes, could not think what the problem was, so I wrote to Mizuno but was not useful, so I bought another pair which were half a size larger, also I was thinking of getting Neo 3 beta, The problem is soccer pitches are closed so I can not test my R2, scared to get bro beta 3 too after hearing your problems
I recently bought some Mizuno Neo III Pro AG, and after using them out the box I started to feel sandpapery feeling in the back of my heels. I also noticed that the heel on the boots are a bit stiff, but they have this synthetic leather material to them, so I hope that they just need some breaking in time, and later it will get soft and mold to my heel 🙏
Hope to see more Mizuno videos. Want to buy some for artificial grass and wonder if it would last. Saw the last video on that. Just don't get comfortable in ag shoes made of rubber on the bottom.
I’ve also been having problems with blisters from my new betas. As you’ve experienced, after about 30 minutes the skin on my heels is just torn to shreds. Not sure what I’ll end up doing. I’m playing 4 times a week, so getting blisters like this is super inconvenient. Honestly, I having a feeling the only way these will be playable is if I develop some serious calluses.
I just bought oneneo 3 beta japan and took it on the pitch, same as your situation, I got a decent heel blister for just 15min, it never happen on nike legend 7 or neo 2, actually I've never suffered heel blister with all my football boots.
I bought the neo 3 beta 1 month ago and I don't have a problem with blisters. Had 2 or 3 sessions and nothing happened. But on my rebula 2 I found it very uncomfortable on my ankle joint. I couldn't find a solution so I hope you can give me some.
Following up now, have they improved? I’ve had a pair for 2 weeks and i get some slight blisters but not severe. I’ve only used them for about 30 mins at a time though in training and not games yet.
I received a new pair of Neo 3 Classics (more on the support from Mizuno later) and right out of the box I played 90 minutes with no issues. Switched to the Beta's and within 15 minutes started to have heel issues. I would have had bad blisters if I wasn't wearing the Armaskin socks. I highly recommend them to prevent or deal with blisters. I am not affiliated with then in any way, just love the product. I'm going to give the Beta's a couple more sessions and some breaking time as I really want to like them, but it's not looking good right now.
@@davekeller9684 Hey, can you provide an update/feedback on Mizuno support? Did you purchase the boots directly from Mizuno and did you end up contacting them with regards to the heel blister issue? Thanks.

Happy to hear your update about beta 3

@@troydoles9415 how exactly did you do that. They feel great but I got the worst heel blisters.

Same as well. I just bought the n3 betas yesterday. Tried it on for 30mins. Skin on my heel tore. Never had these on on my previous mizuno cleats.
Got the morelia neo 4, got a heel blister on my right heel.
This helps a lot! Thank you !!

@@vincentchen9801 Yes, I do not recommend them. Everything fits and feels nice, but the only issue is the blisters in the heel.

use prevention everyday and tape your heel with a dressing then put regular ankle strapping tape over it
Did they get better by any chance?
I use a large band aid to prevent blister.
How can i make it little bit more comfortable because too much pain😊
Any improvement? If you still don’t like them send em my way!

i think it's the material they use. once it gets wet with sweat, dew, or rain, it's like sandpaper.
Not sure if you got em half size down from your usual size. If you did and it still gave you blisters perhaps your theory is right
You mentioned being size 9.5, does this size match the sizing chart mizuno offers as far as cm to shoe size or did you size up or down? Thanks
Any updates? You preferred the regular Neo 3 more in the end?

How are the NEO 4
I’m in the same boat with the betas, REALLY want to love them but they gave me the worst blisters. Any update you can give?
are these fit true to size or do you have to order a half size smaller?
Following up now, have they improved?

Beta's heel softening up at all? Hoping it will mold over time.
