I totally agree, they should have had 40 weeks ago in my view but you can tell why this was the dance that got it. Utter perfection from step to step. I could watch it all day.
I normally have a hard time taking my eyes off Oti when she dances (sorry to her partners), but this time I couldn't take my eyes off Kelvin. I've watched it again and he was simply mesmerizing! This was the best quickstep I've ever seen on one of these shows. Oti is a choreo and teaching queen and Kelvin has been a wonderful student.

Amazing that such a technically difficult dance was made to look so easy! That section towards the end where’s he’s travelling backwards without stumbling or losing the timing was exquisite 💕

Watching this again one year on and its still magnificent. What a tonic to be able to watch Kelvin and Oti during this 2nd lockdown. Its like a glimpse of another, better, happier world.

This 40 imo is WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY overdue, especially after last week. The frame that he keep through the dance was amazing. The bounce was so lovely. The flapper moments that Kelvin execute was devine. I love the entire dance from start to finish. *10!!!!!!!*
In my opinion, Craig should’ve given them 10 a long time ago but it’s obvious that this season his favorite is Karim and it looked obvious that no one would get a 10 before him. I have nothing against him, he and Kelvin are my favorites this year

A long overdue 40 and probably the best quickstep I’ve seen on this show!! Absolutely phenomenal and who’d have thought Kelvin’s first 40 would be for a ballroom dance?! How far he’s come. The guy has been a revelation since the moment he stepped onto the dance floor for that samba. He has never failed to deliver and his and Otis partnership is one I’ll treasure forever! The definitive standout couple this series and the only pair that give me actual goosebumps, they just have to win!
Ali...to be honest, I wasn't really interested very much in Strictly this year until I saw Kelvin's samba on youtube and he brought the whole show to life for me.

Sublime... the only word that sums this dance up. The dance of the night imo and should earn him a place in the final. For a big guy he has a lot of elegance and fluidity. The musicality was top level 10!

Imogen he’s had dance experience 100%. You can just tell. People prefer the couple with more of a journey who have had highs and lows, and made mistakes.

Aww i've watched this quickstep a million times and never tire of watching it. I probably have another 2 million watches to do before i'm anywhere near to getting enough. Kelvin was so light on his feet, and Oti played the part of the carefree lady with such aplomb. They were both so watchable and carefree and easy with the dance, it was so infectious, you want to get up and dance. My champions by a mile!

Kelvin is a master at dancing AND entertaining. Not only does his delight at being a fab dancer shine through, he is handsome, extremely likeable, strong and can adapt instantly to any and every character.

I love how real Kelvin is not acting shocked at the other 10s. Other celebs pretend to act shocked that the other judges give 10s after Craig has already done so when its obvious you're certainly getting 40 when he gives a 10.

So fluid and gentle, Ballroom was never his strong point and for me he has improved immensely. Great Charleston section but I did see one small mistake but hey let's forget about it. He did very well on the "toe back steps" lol also very light and fast with excellent frame and topline. They had a lovely Ballroom curve. It was great. *10/10*

BEST DANCE OF THE NIGHT!! So light, so bright, so effortless … like a colorful feather flying in the wind. His footwork was FLAWLESS, his musicality was OUT OF THIS WORLD, fabulous partnership with Oti and fantastic frame as well. EVERY SECOND of this dance was gorgeously executed in terms of footwork and was sparkling like the best champagne in terms of musicality and artistry. I cannot give this quickstep a 10 because they broke hold during the dance, but it was spectacular! A 9.

This was a amazing quick step dance. I love theses two. They were worthy winners of 2019. Jamie Laing . Is dancing in this year Strictly Come Dancing I hope he is good. Cannot wait until my favourite show start this month. All my favourite Professional dancers will be back. I hope it will be good because they are running s shorter series 18 and they will not be dancing at Blackpool tower ballroom because of Coronavirus also they are not dressing up for Halloween this year. And no Christmas special which I love watching on Christmas day Strictly makes Christmas exspeicaly when you don't have children around you anymore. I love Strictly Come Dancing. It will be so different this year with judges separated from each other and I think they are having a audience but from what have seen on Instagram the audience will have there own little bubble so perhaps they are having family members only to watch the show. Cannot wait to see what is going to be a different Strictly Come Dancing show. Good luck to all the pofessional dancers and there Celebrities partners. And to the judges Craig Revel Horwood and to Shirley Ballas and Motsi and to all the technical crew and to all the costume and makeup crew and to the Dave arch and is band. And thankyou to the BBC1 for allowing the show to go ahead in the Current conditions of Coronavirus.
