There are some knobs to the left of the needle. What do they do? My needle is to the left of the foot and I need it in the center for straight stitch. There is nothing in my manual about this area. Help!

I have a lot of threading that continuously gathers under my stitch !

This machine DOES NOT come with a zipper foot in the U.S.. Must be purchased separately as an accessory.
