Every Christian needs to see that movie.
The good news is that 3 days later, He rose again (defeating death) and was witnessed/seen by more than 500 people. Whoever trusts in The Lord Jesus Christ alone, will be saved! In Him, our sins are forgiven and we have access to eternal life! Without Him in our lives, we are condemned already. But He has the power to change our hearts/desires. God bless you!

There’s another moment in this movie and it’s a small one but it is so powerful- when Jesus is on trial and the people call for Barabbas to be released instead of Jesus- the soldiers bring Barabbas out and he’s mocking them, laughing, being arrogant- then he glances at Jesus, who looks back at him so compassionately… Barabbas does a double take and goes dead still for a moment. It’s like a realization (in fact, the actor who played Barabbas said he began to believe in Jesus at that moment because it was so real).
Yes ! He said he was jesus in that moment ! Definitely the lord used that movie for his glory !

You gotta watch the whole thing Bro. It's intense! Especially when they're wipping Jesus and flogging him with the 3 pronged whip. It was very good tho. Especially if you have any kind of biblical connection or faith.

It would be fantastic If the Centurion who led the troop cruciphying Jesus said " Truly this man was The son of God ", just like The gospels.... Lots of people fainting in the theatre!
I can't wait for the sequel. Mel Gibson did a phenomenal job.

@@MAJreactions Yes. It will show Jesus going down to Hell before the Resurrection and possibly a flash back or something about the fallen angels.

@SilentShinobi12 I know that it will mostly show Jesus descending into hell. Because the main question some would have is. What happened during the three days and nights that Jesus was dead? So that will be what we know so far for the film and possibly get to see a flash back of when the angels fell. The rest of what the film will show... I'm not sure, but I do know they are hoping for the film to come out April 18, 2025.
This movie is beyond phenomenal on so many levels. I watch it very occasionally because I don't want the movie to lose it's impact. I have my nitpicks with it (particularly how the movie treats Mary like she knew what was going on or that she was above humanity because she gave birth to Jesus) but the weight and impact of the movie is so _heavy._ The torment that Jesus went through so we could be forgiven is beyond horrific, and he was willing to go through it all for us because he loves us. I am always a sobbing weeping mess when I watch this movie and I never want that to change. This movie has served as a reminder to me that I have a loving and merciful God and I'm greatful from the bottom of my heart that Jesus gave his life for me

Some like to say this movie was too graffic, but scripture actually says that He had been beaten and marred so badly that He could hardly be seen as a human being. Isaiah 52:14 NET

I made sure that all 3 of my kids watched this once they became teenagers. It's one thing to read the story in the gospel, but it's entirely different seeing it acted out so accurately on screen! I pray that many who watch this movie will seek out Christ and accept him as their savior!
Its not nearly as gruesome or graphic as how the bible describes what jesus looked like while bearing his cross.
Every human being no matter what age should watch this movie. Age shouldnt matter. This is the truth. Not some saw movie. Disappointing any parents shield their child from the truth. My daughter saw this movie when she was 5. Why hide the truth, especially from our children. They need to understand how much love god has
