      I'm still struggling with bad cores. Like a game losing core. Ursa who never use ult when he get gank, a lvl 7 slark who get killed by two lvl 4 support, medusa who is affraid of 100hp enemy when I used tombstone so he could get a kill etc, or a core who over extend when I call to get back multiple times and feed.
      I am out leveling my cores too many times as a pos 5 which is nuts, even crazier is that I am spamming warlock atm and I cant even jungle like other supports to get extra exp.
      Also when ever I used Naga as a support my team always lost their shit. Giving my carry a 5 kill lead before 10 min I'm still called a trash support, and when I used illusion to push out lane to pressure I'm called a farming support even though I solo take all t1 towers with meteor hammer + my illusion.
      When I got a decent core the game is always a snowball which is fun but its rare. Btw these game losing cores show up after my rank confidence max out. My win rate at 58% went to 51% after a massive losing streak. I was 1 win away from reaching legend fall all the way to crusader2 now im at crusader5. (Manage to climb back a bit after playing cores and pos4 a few games)

    Idk, I have played this match up a lot. Giving techies that left side will not stop him from assaulting WK. He will actually do it way more. The techies will absolutely not care youre playing the right side and not try to mimic you. Your only option is to force the techies back for a few levels by chasing him around. If hes left, your left trading. If he goes right, you go right. Being on the wave is probably your worst option.
    Let the WK 1v1 as much as possible. Buy a windlace to juke techies bomb toss as best as possible. You have to cut off his ability to get into right click range. You need to ship out regen.
    Your core has to be the one to agro away from the techies constantly.

    • @zardecil9419
      @zardecil9419 Před rokem +2

      I mean, you can see the results of playing left where techies is left already, if you go right, and then techies goes right, then you go back left. The goal here is to pressure the abaddon and basically make the techies chase you around the lane while you are hitting the abaddon.

    • @oneshotki11
      @oneshotki11 Před rokem +2

      @@zardecil9419 No, she played lane and wave, not left jungle. Shes supposed to occupy the spot Techies occupies above her tower in the beggining, thats the power point of the laning phase. Techies should be forced back and never allowed the enter that region of map. If he takes that spot its over, he does not care about you attempting to harass Abba, Abba will be fine. He will 100 out harass your WK before CM annoys Abba. The play is to take that spot before techies does and nonstop trade with him.
      Every time he tries to walk down from the trees right of their hard camp, you nuke him, and dont let him even come close to the wave without taking damage from you.

      @stellarbruh4945 Před rokem +2

      @@oneshotki11 I agree, I'm about the same rank as the student in this video and play a lot of cm and techies myself. If the cm is not on the left and messes with me and try to soak the damage, I will absolutely right click the shit out of their carry. Yes it's a hard matchup for the cm but sometimes it feels like it has to be done, you give up the left side for 3sec and your wk will lose 50% hp to techies

    • @oneshotki11
      @oneshotki11 Před rokem +1

      @@stellarbruh4945 Exactly. One of the few times I really disagree with BSJ. I play a bunch of CM as well. Its a lane you just want to break even and soak as much damage and techies mana as possible without dying.
      Its like an imaginary triangle between you tehies and Abba. Techies comes down you nuke and back towards small camp. If he tries to take that spot youre hitting him in the back and side. If Abba starts farming the left side of wave again you have to back to small camp, but if anyone enters that area where techies wants to be, you nuke them and try to draw them out. All creep aggro is WK's responsibility, because if you stay anywhere near wave youre gunna get double nuked down.
      Her mistake was starting out in the lane. That was the lane losing mistake.

    • @carlosjamesyap18
      @carlosjamesyap18 Před rokem +1

      Idk, this is really hard lane for CM, I would harass techies here and buy a lot of tangos and let wk 1v1 Abaddon. Even tho you're not gonna win trading against techies just keep him busy til wk able to jungle.

    I do have another question: Abadon is shielded, you have a wk standing right necxt to him. Would you still hit the abadon to break his shield, even though it will hurt wk?

    • @Yich11
      @Yich11 Před rokem +2

      i think the answer is yes: the breaking of the shield will make sure your creep wave dies first and the creep equilibrium is in a good spot for wk to take farm - it is up to the wk to notice when the shield is getting low and to stand back so he doesn't take that damage himself. also, if aba is now shieldless for 3-4 seconds if you break it quickly he will be a bit more scared with his last hitting because he's vulnerable to damage - if he has 100% uptime on his shield because it never gets broken then he'll feel free to dive tower slightly to absorb damage as his shield is expiring to damage the wk and force him to take the shield break damage whereas if you broke it yourself it's on your terms and the wk should be able to read that play better

    Even if trading with tehcies is slightly ineffiecient meaning you will most likely lose the trade I don't understand why as a 5 you don't peel for your carry that? You can anticipate this and just order a salve, effectively you are trading your gold so your carry can farm safely, end of the day what is the point of a support, to let carry farm right? Hitting abaddon is more efficient interaction for crystal maiden, but in the big picture WK will lose farm because he will get shit on and salves are not efficient to use on teammates efficiently anyway. In a way this approach would value CM's recources (HP) more than wraith kings gold and HP

    • @michaelflynn7126
      @michaelflynn7126 Před rokem +3

      If he's on the right and hitting Abaddon, it'll also pull the creeps (and therefore WK) to the right away from techies. Techies then has to move in order to be aggressive. Either close enough to the creep wave, aggroing it and taking damage; or a long awkward walk around. Plus CM has an aoe skill anyway so can still slow and harass techies a little at the same time.

    as a CM spammer +600 matches with cm rank divine 4 and still climbing easily
    I can tell that there is no easy hero in dota2 at all, the hard part of cm is "not dying" and positioning in team fights
    I just hate how people pick cm and end up dying 10~15 times each game or maybe +20 even in top ranked immortal games they die tens of times
    most of my games end up like 3/4/25 or 2/0/15 or 1/3/27 or so your goal is to secure most amount of kills, save most amount of allies and dying lowest amount of times
    and if you want to sacrifice something for the other, just prioritize not dying !
    if your teammates start an extremely stupid fight and they will die let them die they deserve it even if you are support just don't give the enemy 2 kills instead of 1 kill
    the point is that you need to position yourself in team fights and cast your spells correctly (don't frostbite a hero who has bkb ready)
    and keep out of enemy map vision most of the time, the enemy should not see a cm on the map at all !
    don't die to deward or place a ward its not worth it at all you feed the enemy 400 gold or so (ward and reward with your teammates nearby only)
    don't fight in a place where you have 0 vision, for example invading enemy jungle with smoke as 5 requires you to place an observer and a sentry on eye spot to make sure that there is no enemy carry who jumps you from nowhere and your team start the fight 4vs5 after that
    in laning phase you should know how to secure a kill for the carry with enough regen/mangos you should also know if the lane has 0 kill potential to not force stupid fights and end up feeding
    use portal to help your offlaners if they are constantly fighting, a gank at lvl 3-4 from cm will turn the table on the enemy carry and shut them down for a while and perhaps your Offlaners can take down the tower after that
    play with your power spike heroes just leave your carry to farm when its min 10-15 they don't need you anymore on the other hand if your mid wr with atos/maelstorm you can kill anyone on the map so stick to your mid/offlaner when they hit their power spike and apply pressure on enemy towers and enemy jungle
    this will create a lot of space for your carry to fram and push the safe lane towers
    also remember to build an item that suites the game not a single item build for every game (eul against axe, force staff against slark, etc)
    and lastly don't rush bkb first item for cm ulti and don't buy it too late, its really good to have a support item and hit ~30 min timing of bkb + shard from tormentor to be more useful in team fights
    as in ~30 mins most enemy cores will have bkb/manta/linken and cm will be useless in team fights unless someone bait their bkbs
    early game ultimates depend on enemy not having vision in the fight area + hide in trees + ulti so they do not stun or interrupt
    and perhaps win the game
