    Does the serial number in the phone match the headset in the ear?

      my fake ones had matching serial numbers so ignore that.

    • @ryandehamer
      @ryandehamer  Před měsícem

      Serial numbers are typically tied to “real” or “authentic” AirPods Max devices. Meaning what ever the serial is on your device will appear to be real, but will actually just be someone else’s AirPods Max. Confusing for sure, but it’s why I’m so confused to why apple hasn’t addressed the issues

    I was waiting for you to mention the copyright date code on the back of box. If I’m correct the legit ones will have 2020 while the fake ones will have 2023 this can be a dead give away when looking at a sealed pair. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

      @@deelee2834 The opening line of that comment clearly wasn’t aimed at me, as I literally said the exact same thing in a previous comment.
      Secondly, Apple fanboy, as opposed to a B&W or Sennheiser fanboy? Once again I’ll reiterate, BOTH those brands also have fakes being distributed too, as do ALL brands of headphones.
      This isn’t exclusive to only Apple, yet you seem to have inferred it?
      You clearly haven’t done your research properly if you think Apple are the ONLY brand that have fakes being distributed.
      I’ve actually done the research below 👇🏽 that you’re clearly too lazy or ignorant to do for yourself.
      So unless you’re designing your own software & building your own hardware, we’re ALL fans of someone else’s BRAND. So I always find the over-use of the term “fanboy” ironic when somebody is trying to critique one particular brand whilst simultaneously bragging about another.
      A smarter man would’ve spotted the IRONY.🙃
      You’re no different, or that smart, it appears.
      Seems as if you’re maybe just hopping on this thread to continuously tell us how much you dislike Apple?
      As the dude above your 2nd pointless post beautifully articulated, people can spend THEIR money on whatever THEY like. I agree with him, until they then come online complaining about the quality of what is clearly a fake pair. Duh 🙄
      That was the purpose of my post.
      However, the purpose of your post STILL eludes me?
