Umm... Mazinger Z is front and center. For, you know, being the most forefront unit of them all.
Ideon is the focal point.
This music perfectly describe what being inside Ideon feels like. The power is overwhelmingly tremendous, but you still might get killed anytime...

The Ideon ending was harrowing, but the ending for the Baldios TV series is almost as notorious if not AS notorious. In SRWZ (in which Baldios debuts), failure to complete the objective of Stage 44 punishes you with the tidal waves that wipe humanity from the face of the Earth.
This music brings back memories of when I first managed to get Ideon to full power.

Just be glad you weren't playing F Final where doing much more after filling the Ide gauge past the breaking point and giving you an instant game over by allowing the Ide to go berserk.

Damn... In SRW F Final, it was already overpowered and dangerous because you could suddendly activate the Berserk mode for him and he would go ape shit with the Ideon Gun, plus if he reached te 7th gauge and got destroyed, the galaxy was done for.
In SRW Alpha, at least they took away the berserk mode... but DAMN, it's overpowered.

The Buff Clan destroyed two planets in the series, as far as I remember: Ajian and Kyaral (Caral).
The Baldios TV ending is just as notorious as the end of Ideon if you ask me. All of a sudden, those S-1 bastards are able to make two artificial suns? It should be enough to make you go 'What the shit?' Add to that the other world-kill button the bad guys had in the Baldios movie.
By the way, this tune is fine stuff. The Ide's power is rising....

Funny enough in UX, if Demonbane and its final boss uses their ultimate moves at the same time, the game CRASHES. It's probably a reference to one of endings from the VN proper.

Let's just say that it's second strongest form is bigger than the universe and can crush it. Yep, it's second. It's strongest form is, on the other hand, just 16-20 metres tall but, IIRC, can destroy things in all the points of the existance. That means past, present, future, all the points in space of the universe and alternative realities, That's the closest thing to nuff dakka known to men.

Shin getter cleaved Jupiter and several planet-sized mechs in Armaggedon.
Ideon Gun's range is infinite and considering that the mad version grow the further it goes, at a certain point it will be big enough to envelop TTGL if Ideon Gun is absolutely infinite in range. My guess tho :P
Oh and what if Ideon is near Simon's home planet if it's Ideon vs TTGL?
Then TTGL is finally destroyed for good, and we dont have to see such crappy mech design ever again.

Kaidoku123 Mazinger Zero, Shin Mazinger and Getter Emperor as well, but the most notable fact is TTGL is a tribute mecha for all mecha series, so hes the slave of all with lots of refferences.
@@thomas86800 Truely is. Wonder if we can get an SRW with the largest hotblooded ensemble. We've had TTGL appear alongside Getter, Mazinger, Gunbuster/Diebuster in the Z series and we've had GGG, Mazinger, Gunbuster, Jeeg, Getter and Gaiking in Alpha 3.But we've never had an SRW with all of them. Maybe some day it'll happen. Godanner too if was possible, make it a pure hotblooded history.
AND THEN Elder God Demonbane ends up accidently crushing that universe they we're currently brofisting in while fighting Nyarlethotep.

But... Ideon might have power, but the problem is when to use it. Besides having a Godly power, it stil has thin armor and it's very slow, giving the right chance for any mechs to finish it off before Ide is invoked. And, Ideon only exploded enough to "Destroy the universe" because Ide was invoked, so there's no insurance of how is it going to react if destroyed with Ide not being invoked.
I never got to use the sword or gun, because my Ideon never gets hit in the first place. It's rather ridiculous that you have to intentionally take hits just to charge up the Ide gauge. If you screw up this much for the sake of 2 extra attacks, is it really a surprise when Ideon suddenly kicks the bucket and slaps you with a game over screen?

actually no its not that hard to rise ide gauge since it was tied to morale . there is 3 purchaseable skill that raise morale if you dodge, get hit, and attack enemy even if you dont kill them. besside the skill you can pair ideon with unit with cheer sheishin to add 10 morale to squad.

No it won't, ideon was combination of giant vehicles, and lack thing that can categorized as flagship i;e: docking hangar, ship bridge, living room, and many things that ship have. It's like gunbuster, gigantic but still not meant as carrier/flagship.

@@xavgui100 That's the point, gunbuster still bigger than ideon and both of them are not mothership because they aren't constructed as that. If so, they'll less mobile like other mothership that can transform as giant robot i;e: macross and it's successor, and iron gear.

Well, that's games mechanics. We all know that if STTGL and Mazinger Z were in the same game, MZ could tank STTGL attacks receiving only 10 damage :-P
If you are talking about story related powerlevels, in theory both mechas are about the same level, with both having access to unlimited energy. I don't know how much power the DisAstranagant can release, but the Ideon, at least, can unleash enough energy to destroy the universe.
i don't think it physically destroys the universe, just wipes all life in it, which is basically the same

@@lenlimbo exactly, what's the point of having all the planets and stars intact if all life is gone, although all the souls did go to a planet that looks a lot like earth, possibly reincarnating there as new life.

And... since when that matters if the enemy has enough power? Because we are talking about super robots, and in that case, enough power=I ignore your bullshit. Besides that, you have to hit to unleash the power of Ain Soph Aur, and if that attack delete the existence by returning said existence to the point before it begun, the ideon deletes you by destroying you completely, and if berserk, that extends to the freaking universe.
Err, Ideon destroys at least the galaxy if not the universe, and it already destroyed a planet or two over the course of the show. As in actual destruction of the planet, not just some tsunami which wouldn't destroy humanity because there's not enough water on the Earth even with every ice cap melted to raise sea levels more than a few dozen feet.
