I had a Ford Festiva back in the late 80's. Best gas mileage I've ever seen, and I was able to replace all four tires for less than $100.00
Festiva's are great cars. People make fun of em, but they're solid little machines that sip gas. Too bad they are now all pretty old have suffer from rust

I've been looking at these japanese trucks they are flat beds with sides that flap down small trucks they got the flat front it's a Honda and you can get them with mileage as low as 30,000 and they only want $5000-$8000 for them great for town trucks or ranch trucks some dealer in Oregon imports and sells them cant remember the name though

I had an unmodified Festiva for a few years back when I was a very gung-ho snowboarder. I would drive it the 3-4 hour trip to get to Lake Tahoe resorts, the front wheel drive made it GREAT for traction in snow, I could get out of any sticky situation. The only problem was finding snow chains small enough for the teeny 12" tires... Miss the Mighty Festiva every day...
