Trying to get to Orange Lake on a Honda XR650L Motorcycle

- I go trail riding through the woods on my Honda XR650L dual sport motorcycle and try to make it to Orange Lake. My friend Pete is on his ATV trying to get us there. We go on a rough ride though mud, tons of water, and some really rocky trails. Did we make it?

That was a fun ride but the old man can feel it in his bones 😆 I have a really wet ride coming up in a few weeks. My next video is a Ryker video.

Looked like fun Mark, but man that was a lot of deep water in many places. Good job! That last ‘puddle’ before the lake looked about 3’ deep.
We had a great time. Those water puddles were a challenge. You never know what is in them. I am glad that you enjoyed the video Bill. I have a video coming up in a few weeks called the wettest ride ever. I needed a boat for that ride lol.
Looked like a great ride. I know exactly what you mean when you say the lake is orange. The state forest we go to in north central PA for our annual riding trip has a creek with the same issue it has to do with heavy metals getting into the water from mining activities. The actually did a cleanup project for it at the state forest a few years ago but the rocks in the creek are still orange.
We had a great time. I really wanted to see the lake because I never saw it before. Hopefully, we can get back there soon. It would be cool fishing there and pulling an orange fish out lol. Maybe I will bring a fishing pole with me next time.
Big red is totally at home on that type of terrain and roads has an awesome suspension could hammer that road pretty good just watch out for those angled branches laying in the road big red would rail completely on some of those I try to hit them square. Nice ride Pennsylvania looks like it has some beautiful terrain. Have fun you got a great bike no you got to do all the mods and Un Cork IT if you haven’t started already.
Thanks Earl Gray. I am getting a taste of what this bike can truly do. I actually bought it off a 70 year old man that said all the mods were done. I fell in love with the motorcycle. You can take this thing anywhere. It takes getting used to but I am starting to feel at home on it.
Nice ride. Where is Orange Lake located?
It is in Wilkes-Barre PA deep in the woods. Not exactly sure how to get there without my tour guide Pete. We are going to try again. I really want to see it.
