N54 was made for twins I still don’t get why everyone single turbos them. I swear my 19T is the fastest on earth
Straight fax
It’s because of engine longevity, big single will make less torque bottom end but more boost top end therefore putting less stress on the motor. Upgraded twins hit peak boost a lot sooner and spool up faster which isn’t the best for the rods but they can handle it
Did you remove the small fuel filter off of the Hpfp ? And what bit did I you use to drill out your fuel rail ?

How many miles you got on the turbos ? Just curious how they hold up and did you get them tested before installing
I daily my build car so at 22 psi for a whole year nothing happened. This is my third pair these still running. I recommend custom tune and at your local turbo store balance them.

Sum ting wong with that ST 335i at the end. A decently sorted ST N54 is typically clapping a 19T car ruthlessly. My source? My DD is a 19T N54 & fun car is a 6266 N54.
ST turbo N54 and China Twins N54 are way different cars both have there pros and cons. But is not just the size of turbos that matters is the fuel and tuning. N54 is amazing because you have so many options and set ups to make power. I still need to explain my fuel set up and tuner💯
Yea this aint true. I am on 19t's v2 for over a year and run consistent low 7's 60-130. Some singles on port aint even doing that. And im full weight. Draggy is gapmodE90
That 335is ST was my homies old car simple setup the new owner hasn’t changed pretty turned down 20psi DI only on a 67mm turbo walbaro 450
Single turbo can make up to 800 hp with fueling so if that one is boosting low it ain’t hurting twins that much with the lag. Turn it up and it’s gone. 19t can go to 600 hp (if)they don’t blow up. Seems like this guys car is max out on boost.
I don’t have 19t and im not maxed on boost i just have better fueling than that st n54, reason i lowered my boost is cuz the auto tranny is slipping🤷🏻♂️

Most of us know that cheap turbos can make good power. That's not the argument, it never was. Cheap is just that...cheap. Low-quality control, and Low-quality material. If you make an argument, saying that the "China Turbos" = the low-quality ones, makes power, You are avoiding the argument that they are low quality, which was the original argument in the 1st place. " This is my third pair these still running" ...what do you mean 3rd pair?
I don’t get what you are trying to insinuate, but to clarify 3rd pair of turbos. First pair of turbos i tested was the v1 11 blade 19t.. second pair was the v2 6+6 19t and third pair is the v3 manifolds with the 7+7 20T blades.
