We loved this. You had a totally different day to us, but still amazing. We enjoyed seeing Bremerhaven, as we did Bremen. We really enjoyed the chefs table and we only dipped into Spark - we had no clue either. Cheers 🍻
Always seems that there is about 50% more people than P&O ships buffet can handle …..it really is what some people I’ve heard refer to as “ the trough” …keep the great vlogs coming , honest and informative which is great 👍👍
We went on Iona in her maiden season and the Olive Grove was much better back then with a MUCH larger menu and much greater choice. Keel and Cow was also amazing with fantastic food and the bread that came with the cheese starter was so huge it was a struggle to eat it. We got the same tiny pieces as you, when we had the same thing on Arvia recently and unfortunately your footage shows that they’ve now cut back on portion sizes on Iona too.
Love the polar bear and the ball, as well as the seals. Great call on holding off on the Zoo until later. Woolworth’s is also worth putting Bremerhaven on the travel list.
In Germany you are required to have a passport with you at all times! If you have a bus ticket with your name and don't have an ID, they treat you as if you had no ticket, fees and all. I have to show my ID every blue moon, but it's still mandatory. So it's all good you took your passports with you, better to be safe than sorry.
I meant Horizon. Looks pretty average breakfast at best! Food has gone down with po over the years. Clientele has as well. Why was Hamburger cancelled - no explanation. Surely if you berth in Bremerhaven you would go to Bremen? £4 each way bus fare a rip off. £4 return maybe……

We were very excited to see woolworths in keil germany on one of our cruises. I think most people from the ship took photos outside of it.

At the time we weren’t given an explanation but since then we discovered Hamburg was cancelled because a ship had sunk in the Harbour
