Gorgeous. As a Caucasian woman who wears wigs I am fascinated by these transformations. I lived and worked for many years in corporate in South Africa and used to envy (yes, that's right) how my girlfriends of colour could mix it up from frontal to bantu knots to box and mini braids with extensions. Doing hair like this is an artform!!

hairdresser did a fantastic job. however as the above person said, her natural hair is beautiful. All she needed was a hair transplant on the sides, like had done in turkey. life changer!
She already appears to have nice healthy hair. I hope her edges can grow back so she can pull her own hair back like that. The side part is really cute on her.

Yes, edges can grow back with the proper supplements and oil. Rosemary oil, pumpkin, seed oil, and orally taking msm. Within months, you'll see an improvement. Everyone is different, so the time frame depends on the person. It doesn't happen overnight, but if you stay consistent, the results will come.
They wont ever grow back by doing this.
She has lovely hair except for thinning edges. Carla is very talented & creative.... however that's a temporary solution, if she keeps having glue added to her edges the situation will get worse. Massage essential oils (peppermint, rosemary & clove with, castor oil, avocado & coconut oils as carriers) eat healthy, drink lots of water daily & take a whole food vitamin.
Those elastics will snap her hair right off

Yes, her hair is gorgeous. She need to continue to have her hairstylist get her edges back instead of using all the glue.
I agree….all that glue spray and tight rubber band on her own hair looks EXTREMELY damaging!
I was and am confused. I don’t mean this to be mean but, if she has already lost her edges , why add to the problem with the glue? I’m natural and have never worn wigs,sew ins…. Nor used extensive products but, would like to honestly be educated on how this hairstyle is helping her edges or was this simply a boost for…?
And having her hair tied back tight too.

You are an artist. I never realized how many steps go into creating hair styles for black women. I found this fascinating. Now if I could find an artist like you to deal with my thinning hair (I'm white and a senior) without having to resort to a wig, I would be ecstatic. You took a beautiful woman and made her hair amazing. I am very impressed!

@@kjpkjp746there are plenty of black stylist that work on all hair types, including Caucasian hair. Just make sure sure when researching to see photos and hopefully speak with actual clients of that preferred stylist. Never go to someone just because they say they can do it. Check out their work first and always read reviews of clients on their pages, be it instagram, Facebook, CZcams and so on. Ask this lady for referrals in your area that she can vow on that does good work. Never know, she may actually know someone. Also, there are clients that actually fly out to such stylists for the best work done.
Just a thought and I hope everyone the best in getting the hair style of their dreams!
@kjpkjp746 Yes, just seek out a multicultural salon. The stylists there are trained to work on all hair types. Also if you admire the hair of anyone in particular, ask who does their hair and they may turn you on to a good stylist.

@madonnamotete558 yes my godmother is like that. She don't like the attention n people constantly complimenting her. She more concerned with it being neat n serving purpose. She is so unique in a lot more ways too. But she is such an amazing person n godmother. I love her so much

One word..AMAZING! A thyroid condition made my already thin edges (hereditary) even thinner so I started wearing lace front wigs. My hair is bra strap length and natural I would love to just wear it out, but- my edges. This video was inspiring. Never even considered just the frontal and using my own hair in the back! I wish I lived closer I would definitely be making an appointment 😃Maybe in the summer since I'm off; I'm a teacher. New subscriber here for sure. You ROCK!!!

Yep, I had a lot of the basics, finger waves and pin curls. When you are a white girl with natural curly hair it’s tough. No bangs. No hair flowing in the breeze. Lol. Lovely, but I wish she hadn't pulled the ponytail so tight. Tension is likely what led to the client's loss of her hair around her hairline. It would be tragic for her to lose even more hair .

Being a single parent I made sure my boys came first and me last.
But now since my youngest is 27. I need to start putting effort into myself.
I hear and see women at work talking about how much better they feel getting their hair done. And they do look amazing.

When I was younger and had hair added I was soooo self conscious. Going home with a short ponytail and returning with about 6 more inches of hair drew attention that I did not want, I get her concern there.
I was the same way. I felt like everyone was staring at my hair. I don’t wear anything but braids and twists now but this was cute.
