It seemed like a metaphor for paranoia to me. She was scared that everyone was going to "discover her" but she wasn't even doing anything "worth discovering". And if you noticed, whenever she was nervous or feeling paranoid, she tucked her bangs behind her ears. At the end, she chose to cut off her bangs, I think that symbolizes getting over the paranoia.

I think I know what the actual plot is,
What we are lead to believe at first is a spy who is going undercover in an important business office to deliver important documents back to her Boss, but I think what's actually happening is her trying to sneak out of work to get her hair done, as shown by her hiding from the security camera's at 3:24, and her co-workers figuring out that she's leaving early at 4:45. It would also explain why she is so startled by the man in the elevator with her at 5:32, which is probably her actual boss, and why she's a little nervous as she doesn't want him to find out that she's going home so soon. At the end, is when we find out that she's bunking off work to get her hair cut XD

SO, for the folks saying "All of this for that?", some companies have almost draconian policies surrounding the acceptable use of office equipment and break time.

@@aeho7496 extremely harsh, super severe or hella tough. The kind of thing where even a tiny fault or hint of breaking a law (either written or implied) could earn the most severe of disciplinary actions.

I think...basically she left work early to get the hair cut, and also used the office printer(apparently the rule is "Not allowed for personal printing"). Thus it comes with all the tension, almost like she's committing a crime or what, but let's be honest, it's kinda the same when you try to slip out of school before class ends XD

This is verry horror short movie. They face verry creepy. The cantor is verry darkness, and the music is make me heartbeat woah i verry scary to the smile guy when she in the photocopy
I think its not just about a haircut. Its about a Person' with anxiety and for instances people like you see this as " just a little situation" but for them this is really a big big big deal. I love this !

I understand the concept of anxiety in society and the working world but the first words that came out of my mouth when I finished watching this was "what the f*** was that?". It's a haircut, so what...

For others who might be confused, I think I know why she was being so spy like about the whole thing. Some companies don't allow their employees to use their printers or copiers, etc., for personal matters, which is probably why she was being secretive about it so she wouldn't get in trouble. That's my guess.
Followed by getting off work early to make it to the hair saloon
that kinda makes sense. Maybe the 'angle mort' thing was because of her hair, she couldn't see properly in that angle the hair covered

In relation to the animation ‘Angel Mort’ the title makes no sense since in English it translates to ‘Angel Of Death’
Its not 'Angel Mort' like u mentioned...title is Angle Mort...

WarpWorld7 Hell no!, actually it's the opposite for me, most of CG character nowdays (Except feature CG) is more like the one in this short. Ugly, disproportionate and exaggerated characters. Just take a look at the famous free rigs: "Malcom", "eleven rig", "Morpheus", don't get me wrong, they are Awesome rigs but the models are very... mehh.. I think more effort should be put into modeling characters. It's no surprise that now that "Mery rig" came out everyone is using it because it's beautiful, appealing.

I really liked this animation! The characters carried their own unique styles, and definitely meet the 'I could identify them in a silhouette line up' idea, and the whole mood of the story was really well done; I thought she was in danger the whole way through, and got really tense near the end, only to be pleasantly surprised by the funny twist ending.

I feel like this movie symbolizes how people grow anxious about change. Throughout the movie, suspense was gradually built until the end which gave viewers a sense of relief (or disappointment). In real life, many people tend to worry about how others may think of them, even of its just a small change like a hair cut, hence why she was trying to avoid everyone.

I've read three years' worth of comments and nobody mentions that "angle mort" means "blind spot", which is reflected throughout the animation.
When I first saw this a few years ago I was like she’s a spy and finally has all her stuff done to present it to her boss. The hair cut at the end was getting herself ready for her next assignment.
