Standing Walls on the BIGGEST Building: Part 4

- In this video we start standing walls on the biggest building we have ever built. Lots of you were curious how we would stand 304' walls, and even though this is the biggest building we have stood, it still goes up just like any other building we put together.

My dudes, I will NEVER stand a 304' wall frame up ever. But I LOVE this project and am fully invested in seeing it to completion! Thanks for the great content!!
I love that you are teaching Cole and ensuring that he understands every step of the way.
He is not teaching anything. Cole seems to be lazy as fuck.
@@brawaleswhat a troll. Just go away
Anyone else impressed how straight he drills?! He nails it every time! it’s actually insane
No not impressed, what's to be impressed about?
@@david-ow3nv precision that you must have and feeling for the level and direction for the drill to get the hole 100% true

The Great Wall of the Midwest takes shape!
Just watched pt 1-4, and I am impressed. In an era of bad craftsmanship, it is nice to see men who take pride in their craft. Great how you work with those young men as well. Those two are learning more practical/useful skills than they will ever learn in a modern university. Keep working, and I'll keep watching.
Framing part of these build looks so simple at least you guys make it look easy
I usually watch your segments on my iPhone, but this evening I was near my PC. What a difference a 21” monitor makes! I have a much greater appreciation for the sheer size of the building’s dimensions.
Amazing work, nothing is more satisfying than laser straight walls over such a huge distance.
Never gets boring, love Cole getting involved how much he has grown from when he first helped in the house renovation ..Keep it going and real lads.
Wow. I've been on the edge of my seat for a week. Oh yea baby ! Yea Kyle. This is your turf. So amazing. Your construction solution for the BIG buildings. So amazing. Yea...... Thank you for sharing all that you do. Just great.
Very impressive. Thanks Michael
Awesome job best series on utube .looking forward to every video .good on you guys
I'm loving this series!
Great job guys. Can't wait to see the rest. Good luck!!
making good Progress just remeber keep cool and stay hydrated ..... looking good the roof is going to be the most fun of all cheers keep up the Great work
Hi Kyle, how about adding a small trailer behind the golf cart to carry around all of your basic supplies while building this giant building. One trip to your main trailer at the end of the day to put things away? The Harbor Freight 4' x 8' folding trailer would be ideal and cheap. Save a lot of wasted man power. Great project.
Keep the music going fellas love the edits. Adds so much production value. My favorite was Big Spoon (instrumental) from one of the past projects with drone footage and slo mo.
Sweet Content Guys.....Really Love it! Thank You
One great video after the next. Thanks for sharing your expertise on building.
Awesome team work...
Just an insane amount of work
How much is Cole hating life. You guys are lovin life as long as there's something to climb on, a hammer, screw gun, nail or screw involved. Eek😊😥
Great video! You guys definitely have this system dialed in.❤
You guys are machines!
Total confidence in your ability!
LOVE the Golden Warriors shirt!
I hope you appreciate how amazing you are that 3 men can raise a building this size with efficiency and craftsmanship. By comparison, this morning while dropping my kid off at camp, I witnessed a crew of 5 and with a telehandler take 30 minutes to put a wheelbarrow on a 12’ high roof.
Were they ODOT (Ohio Department of Transportation) workers?
Great video! This one would scare anyone and you two are just pushing through. Great video!
Dude, don’t lie. I already know this is going to be your own personal indoor pole vaulting facility.
Amazing job boys 🎉🎉
Hi Kyle, the safety issue is hydraulics failing. A blown hose could kill someone. My friend's dad was crushed and suffocated from a hydraulic failure. Just make sure you look your machines over and that they are in good order as I'm sure you do. As I've heard you say before you can't eliminate risk but you can reduce it.
There are check valves that hold the pressure when the pump is off. Yes, a leak in a hose will drop pressure. But hydraulic hoses don’t just suddenly explode. Old worn out ones should be replaced, obviously.

Jesus, a branch could break and kill someone, a drunk driver could plow into it, blah blah blah.
@@christopherwebber1104 Child...
@@kevinhornbuckle I have seen it happen...
Every crew needs a HS athlete. Watch him clap at you while you sledge. He understands team morale, even as a "new guy."
Very nice and impressive work. I'm starting to rethink the way I'm going to build my Garagemahol. A 48 x 84 multipurpose building that I'm starting soon
Love your son being on site with you I hope he join the team that’s the dream when you retire he’ll take over
beuatiful new video can not waith for more
Very cool!
Man, You guys are impressive!
Awesome stuff! 😃👍🏼👊🏼
This is a cool project for many reasons, including the shear length and width of it!
Efficiency at its best.
Very impressive guys!!
Awesome!
Great work , impressive coordination 😊
Verry good job👍👍👍
awesome!
Been watching you guys for a couple of years now, and it still amazes me how fast you can do this with such a small crew.
😎👍👍👍👍👍 looking good guys.
Thats a WOW😄Getting those walls up!!, Good to have Cole there, maybe when he finishes school could become full time, he seems to enjoy himself enough to bring a friend. Great video Of course we want to follow to completion of building.!!
Really good stuff guys :)
That's a big wall. Good job guys
Good afternoon happy Wednesday 👍👌🤟💪💪💪
Nice!!
I definitely agree with your logic about fasteners and lifting the wall by straps! If it can’t withstand that, the building is junk anyway! The 20 penny ring shank nails are definitely a must for those massive walls!
Over 300’ of wall is impressive, Kyle!
Nice ty
Thanks for taking time to video and edit this to show us your content Kyle. That is crazy how massive those walls are to lift. Good work dude
Awesome content all the way from Australia
IMpressive to say the least!
WOW ,, MASSIVE KYLE 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The music in this video was awesome great video
Well that was impressive...
Nice build
I wish I could come build one of these building with u guys. So jealous. Keep the videos coming man. Love it.
Giant project with just 6 hands! Godd jod!
Great Teamwork 👍👍Really enjoying your video 👍👍
Looking foward to see you swing trusses in place
nice big job for you
ive said it before, im here since diresta, and each time im amazed at how well you guys do the through hole drilling
Its insane the size on those walls and there is only 2 of you!, lucky cole was there to help too!, excellent work RR well done👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Gotta love southern jello pine
21:33. Looked like Bosu Ball! 😂
Your kiddo is all yours genetics bro! Stong guy!
A job for the Amish. What an insane project. Good Luck.
Burke bar bro!
Drilling straight through the brackets is the most impressive thing of all
Cole: highly coachable. 😁
Do you think he is headed for college football?
@@kevinhornbuckle Cole is under the guidance of his parents. His mother has those answers. 😉
Wow that's a lot of building. Even with hydraulic muscle it's a beast to build. Let's GGOOOOO
Прикольно осознавать что где то на другой стороне планеты кто то тоже строит. Я сам с России и строю сарай😃
А вы ребята строите такое огромное здание, в троем, это круто, молодцы...
You guys are amazing.
You all need to be wearing steel toed boots.
Years ago, an empty pallet tipped over and landed on my big toe when I was wearing tennis shoes.
Let's just say I would have married the nurse at urgent care when she released the blood from under my toe nail.
WOW
Man what a daunting project. I bet you'll be glad to when this one is finished up. If my math is remotely close, that'll take 470ish sheets to close it all in.
Nice looking Corn Field on the end of the building.
I’m waiting for the “If you build it they will come - Field of Dreams” montage!
Love the vids. Please wear safety glasses!!
Tell Kalan to come play for my club football team, I need a center. He looks like a beast! No wonder those walls went up so easy.
Anybody else notice how much that corn has grown since they started this project?! 🌽🌽 😎👍
Crazy the corn growth!!!
Steroids nowadays
Up here in North Central Wisconsin, most of our corn is just over the knee to mid thigh high. We have been absolutely hammered with endless rain. Finally seeing the sun and heat now. Can't get enough of this build , anxious for next vid!
@kusterflattail I'm in east central MN...tell me about rain ! It was unreal
That thing is HUGE!! It just goes to show the versatility of post frame. Really enjoying this series, great job. What are you feeding your son?? Last time i think i saw him he was knee high!! I've been watching for too long!! :-D
I don't scale heights anymore, fell off my house roof but luckily 2 plastic waste bins broke my fall. Upside is I now know which bins are mine kos they both have cracked lids.🤪
My whole life couldn’t fill that place!!!
You ever thought about having one of the local amish groups come out and help? Some of those communities are getting so desperate that I have been seeing them at the barge docks in chicago land.
Love your channel, I've been following since the Diresta build.
Get absolutely no work done when you post a new video.
"we will sledge these into place"
2:08 greg moves them into place with his hands
That “tail off” …we call it a whip here in the northeast Kyle.
Peace
It amazes me how you drill through both holes on the bracket. I'd miss 75% easy...
OSHA from the shorts on, and run your line at a 12" offset for accuracy
My spreader bars above those Straps sure would’ve looked good, the last time I did a wall, 150’ long and pinned those A-frames braces to the ground, had a wind over 60 miles an hour, and a lot of those screws were sheared off 😳
👍👌💪
I assume you threw out a bid on all that expensive lumber. How much did you save from vendor to vendor? I live in the south where that lumber comes from. I can't imagine how much shipping was for that amount of lumber. I love that type of work and in the past did my share of framing . Not a wall that long. Most of my wood working was falsework building bridges. Now at my age of 72, I have a wood working shop in my back yard just for a hobby. Just love working with wood. You guys do a good job and I love the explanations. Just be safe and wear those safety glasses.
Wonder if you could make a bunch of telehandelers remote controlled like that crane you like using.
👍✌
I was waiting to see if you were going to try out that auger bolt system. Isn’t it grk? I would have thought with the amount of bolts you drill through posts, you would have been first on the list to try it out.
Crazy to think all of your walls added together are longer then 1/8 of a mile.
Colonel was asking where your hard hats were when constructing walls
