Contra: Operation Galuga (魂斗羅 オペレーション ガルガ Kontora Operēshon Garuga?) is an upcoming run-and-gun platformer video game set in the Contra universe developed by WayForward and published by Konami. It is slated for release on March 12, 2024 on current generation platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). The game is a reimagining of the arcade/NES version of Contra with modern graphics and new mechanics.[1][2] A demo was released for Steam on February 21, 2024.

If you havent played the original contra game back in the days you wont appreciate this remake. Its a retro game and its been true with this. Play something else then at 4K 60fps

Gameplay looks cool, graphics are nice, animation is smooth, but one thing I’m just not feeling is the background music. One of the aspects of the original Contra that stood out was the music, which was top notch at the time and still holds up. The music in this reboot, however, sounds like an afterthought.
In the final version there are better songs and you can play with Contra 4's songs

I like how whn this person acquired the spreader, nothing or no other weapon mattered...just like back in the day. We would debate on who would be able to get it first depending on who it was yesterday after school...ah dem were the days...(I do see they put more variety into weapons now...spreader gonna always be the best though...js)
OMG! 😮 Is this a reboot of the first Contra? They added some new elements but it's definitely the first level of the game. I finished this game so many times with my brother back in the 80's on NES, I think I have to get this one 😁
This is like the first and third stage of the original Contra in the Family Computer Combined as a first level of this new Contra for the Playstation 5.

@@nd5301Немного пред истории, в 1990х у нас в деревню приехали китайцы было это в Казахстане в деревне Уварово, группа китайцев жила в так называемой огородней бригаде -пионерский лагерь, а с этими китайцами приехала ещё семья и там был мальчик мой одногодка мне тогда было 9 лет, дак у него была приставка денди и тогда я и увидел это заграничное чудо света, и у него были все эти игры. А мы тогда видели только развал СССР и теинки в бумажном виде да чёрно-белые телевизоры Рассвет-307
I have a feeling that the game mechanics of the games from the 80's up to the early 2000's and the game art and style will comeback in this much more modern era of gaming! REWIND TO THE PAST THEN FASTFORWARD TO THE FUTURE!

I remember in the years of 80, years of nintendo era. There were many game competitions to finish this game as fast as possible. Can you finish this game in 20 minutes or less?. Use spread and rapid rapid rapid rapid, keep running and don't stop even when you fight the boss.

This is just right. It’s basic and upgraded and not too complicated.
It's beautiful, but I miss the old rock'n'roll music so much that It doesn't look like Contra to me.

Konami is so behind the competition. Except the game is in 4k, the rest of the graphics won't stand out at all comparing to 2010 games. Read dead redemption, NBA2k etc etc blow this miles away.
It looks like a AA game which is fine. The fact that Konami is making a game that isn't pachi-slot or mobile game exclusive to China is a step forwards.

Look at this stupidity of Konami's "designers" from 4:05 , out of 8 blue turrets, only one fired a bullet at Bill, and Bill destroyed the others as a joke.... Bullets should be flying everywhere, it should be difficult for the player, there should be a challengе but here I can only see a lemonade
