Just heard from my sister as long as you stay in the game any lives you have stay go to the menu save your game and quit there removed glitched or bad.

Wayforward is a company that makes games for the masses, not for real players who want a challenge, and here in this game it is represented, I will take the level 3 village as an example, and there are many such examples, you just walk around the level as if you go to the market, without any challenge and with excessively weak opponents who do not shoot bullets, even the semi-boss is too easy to beat
Those developers besides Konami did a great job with the ai programming I hope they make a yugioh game that’s not a cheating game as well
The amount of lives you can earn in game is crazy and awesome however when i leave or restart my switch most of my lives are gone glitched there is hope of a fix if it's on purpose very cruel so weird and confusing i earn close to 140 lives just to loose them all but not through death performance and level layout still heavy but this very bad.
Is this as hard as the original contra from super nintendo 😱?.
If you play 1 hit kill mode then yes.

I know the switch is not on the best level of playstaion and xbox but this is crazy i would go with the newer systems but from what i have been told by my sister your forced to go online just to play and that they take your memory on your machine and use it i'm not shure what to believe.
It's a nice game but tbh that first stage is boring compared the one from Contra Hard Corps on Genesis. And tbh it's amazing it's still like that so many years later, it's not even nostalgia googles, go check it yourselves if you haven't and compare. The game was so ahead of it's time, there was so much stuff going on screen.

Am I the only one that plays the retro soundtrack instead? I feel the orchestra inspired new music doesn't fit the game.
Hour and a half.... Disappointing
Very short game
It’s a 2.5 D Run and gun shooter. What did you expect? I wouldn’t have had it any other way. This is what fans wanted and depending on the person and difficulty it’s a little over 2hrs. If you play the story mode probably 2 1/2hrs.
I dont think so. Imo it is a very good step in the right direction. They will deffinitely improve if they continue to do it.
Contra games are usually short, in fact many of them are shorter than this game. Plus for arcade mode is perfectly fine as the game is meant to be beaten in one sitting.
