This video provides an overview of installation of my new LED headlight adapter brackets. These brackets fit older model Polaris Sportsman ATVs. The brackets allow you to replace your dim OE incandescent headlights with much brighter and more efficient LEDs.

New LED headlights have two wires and ATV has three wires how do I make this work
You will only use two of the three wires. Check the voltage between each of the three wires with the headlight switch in the LOW position. When you find the combination that indicates +12V on the meter, you've got your two wires (red lead on the meter to red wire on the lights). The third wire is for high beams, and you can just cap that one and leave it disconnected.

Do you have any videos on how you wired them? I am thinking about doing the same upgrade and was wondering if I can just use male spade terminals into the factory headlight harness plug.
I don't have any videos of it, but the wiring is pretty straightforward. Spade terminals are probably too big to fit into the OEM connectors. I typically use heat-shrinkable splices.
@@balticcustoms4350 Thanks, I just hate to cut into stuff and permanently alter it. I did do some research and found some make H4 style pigtails that could work well.

@@balticcustoms4350 have an 02 sportsman 700 the brackets did not line up at all, but I did get it to fit just by making another hole on the main connection piece snugging it to where the factory bolt goes in.
Will they fit an '04 700?
