  • Let's look at some larger diecast cars today that are new and I believe sold in stores currently. We have two Porsches, a Ford, a couple Aston Martins, a Mercedes, and a Lamborghini. A fun way to admire replicas of very expensive automobiles! I decided to take a little tour to share with you the grounds of Fairlane, the Dearborn estate of Henry Ford. The grounds are open to the public as are the surrounding woods.
The toy cars start at about 2:30 in the video if you want to skip ahead.
    Thank you for watching!

This was great! What a fun idea with the house then the cars. And those mysterious little tunnels in the river. Curiosity abounds! 🚗🚙

I mostly collect Hot Wheels cars, but i really like these pullback cars too. 😃 Of these cars, i liked silver Mercedes the most. 😃👍 It breaks my heart that i didn't kept my childhood toys. 😔 Have you kept any of your Barbie dolls from childhood? Maybe she is now crying in a box and waiting fore you to love her? 🤗

A movie I would recommend watching about the Ford GT40 is _Ford v. Ferrari_. Basically, Ford wanted to buy Ferrari, but Ferrari said no because it would mean Ford ran Enzo's baby: Scuderia Ferrari, the racing team for Le Mans and F1. Furious, Henry Ford II had Carol Shelby (already working with Ford on making the Cobra 427) help build him a car that would beat (the then unbeatable) Ferrari at Le Mans. The GT40 was born, but on it's first outing at Le Mans, it did not do too well. The second version, the MK.II (Mark 2) would finish with a 1-2-3 podium. It was the first time an American company won at Le Mans, and the GT40 would continue to win at Le Mans for 4 years straight. It did help that Ken Miles was behind the wheel of one of them.
