I am trying to make the base support that you suggested for a airless basketball but the support is almost half the ball & not a base. How do you limit the height?

I am trying to use supports to print mini's and it seems to cover the entire mini...like what am I doing wrong?
Cura does not do that, and they seem like they will be harder to get off without breaking the mini using the Bambu tree supports
