I love fashion trends and have really enjoyed wearing some of the key 2023 fashion trends but I especially love it when some of the trends are more timeless than trends - do you know what I mean? So today I've put together a video of some of my new favourites that are not only on trend at the moment but they are pieces I know I will wear and love for years to come. I've also found a new label to love in Goelia and can't wait to visit their store next time I'm back home in Sydney. Have you heard of Goelia before? Not sure why I hadn't heard of them until now but I'm really pleased I have found them as the quality is gorgeous - especially their merino wool and fine light-weight WASHABLE woollen pants. I got my apartment/clothes a little more organized yesterday. Sleeveless, shortsleeves, longsleeve etc. And I have a box to put things to get rid of! I'll keep watching videos like yours. Hopefully just keep the stuff I really like and get rid of some things. I have a shirt similar to that first one you showed. Button front. Collared. Short sleeved. Beautiful fabric. Nice length. Congratulations on the sponsorship and you really grab some great examples of some basic essentials that would work for all seasons for sure. I really like that the sleeveless tops are sturdy enough to wear over a blouse or a pull-on high neck long sleeve thin knit. You know how I'm crazy about you doing the try-ons, so thanks for that. If those white pants are tropical wool, they would work well even on warmer days. I love that kind of fabric! And you hardly see it anymore, at least in women's clothes.

Hi Mary I went for a size large in all of the pieces actually. I would def suggest sizing up as the sizing is def on the smaller side. I’m 5’11” and 145 pounds for reference 👍🏼

I just received several items from Goelia. I like them, but to my fellow Americans I advise this: size up at least one size. I’m a US 10, or on the smaller side of US Medium (10-12), but their Large is too tight! I ordered silk items and the fabric is super-thin, but the prices are reasonable, at least right now as they seem to be on sale. I will hand-wash these instead of using my machine’s gentle cycle as I do for my other silk garments. They should make larger sizes and structure their sizing to more Western standards if they want to succeed in the world’s largest apparel market, the US. The average US woman is now a size US 16! There’s nothing for them at this brand, sadly. I have been larger and I know how hard it is to find even sizes 12/14 in Asian brands.

It’s such an American mindset to think that for any business to succeed they have to pander to the obese Americans. There is a world outside America and many Asians who’d fit into their clothing, maybe you’ll should lobby for Americans to create more brands to cater for the fatties.

@analys1422 You can search for International Size Charts for clothing. A quick rule of thumb is 'US Womens Size plus Two'. For example - a UK/Australian Size 8 is US Size 4, a UK/Australian Size 14 is a US 10.
