- It's October 1990 and we are in Derby. Plenty of classic traction there back then as we see Inter-City, Provincial, an MGR freight working & light engine moves. We see locomotive classes 08, 20, 47 & 58 along with Valenta powered Inter-City 125 HST, slam door DMU's and new class 150 & 156 Sprinter DMU's. Fantasteek! I often play Derby May/June 1990 in my head, to escape the insanity lol. Ooooh, 47840 without her NORTH STAR nameplates. Theres a mad story there too bzzzzzzzt. . . Nice footage, also modelled 20215, probably gonna have to change 20104 i done too into 20108 instead, to pair with 215, as they were glued together throughout 1990 :D
08842 on old DY Stalwart another common one was 899. 1990 I was just about to emigrate for the second time then to California. Still some good railways about then. Good video mate. Bay platform 5 was still there then too.
All changed now, the station has been massively rebuilt.....

Well 'ard!!!! You're risking it a bit there mate, I guess you must have dropped my name as I doubt there were any permits or parlay. Us hard Derby folk don't take too kindly to Cockney W-anchors up on our turf. Glad you made it out alive.
