Hi I tried to dye my hair with the crimson adore and it didn't take on my hair if I use the 30 developer with it would it actually dye it then??? Help!! 🤷
I get so many questions about mixing adore with developer lol I wouldn’t recommend it being that I only use it by itself, but I’m no cosmetologist, so I’m not 100% sure if you can or not
i used the crimson adore with 30 vol developer and it didnt really do anything the firt and second time :( only my ends turned red because they were already blonde
Why would you mix adore with developer? IDK why ppl are adding unnecessary things.
Adore doesn't need developer, adding It doesn't active the dye to take better on your hair.
In fact mixing it with developer doesn’t do anything and will disrupt the dyeing process by making it slower.
Ive been using Adore dye for over a year, so as long as your hair is already light enough or bleached enough for the colour to show then adore works perfectly fine.
However if you want to make the adore colour lighter or get more out of the bottle then I recommend using white conditioner but that's about it.

The roots are lighter because heat from the scalp processes the color faster than the rest of the hair shaft. This is why you do roots last. Just a tip..

Hey just a quick tip.....when coloring hair always use a neutralizing shampoo first then continue with your regular shampoo and conditioner but it turned out really cute

See, you made me wanna grab a friend or cousin & dye their hair lol. Mine is already dyed so I can’t touch mine right now. Love the L’Oréal HiColors because they have the best shades of red for dark hair. For mine, I mixed intense red with magenta & it gave me a red velvet cake type of shade

I did this same technique and my roots were lighter than the rest of my hair. It’s because the hair closer to scalp is new growth, Virgin hair. I dyed the roots with some adore hair color to make it an even color.

The reason why it’s a bright red in the roots is because it’s new growth and is virgin and the reason why the ends are dark red is because it’s already been processed and is no longer virgin this happened to me lol

thank you for the tips...I use Adore, ruby red and crimson but never thought to use both together. I only use these two for touch ups and my main go to is Shea Moisture Bright Auburn...but just in case I don't have the Shea Moisture I will try the red and crimson together.

frizzeecurlz i understand that although I do not know how to respond to u without it being on here I just wanted u to know it’s mid shaft roots then ends sorry for stating that this was wrong my b...now next time roots cuz it’s virgins with 20 or 30 developer then refresh the color with a 10 or 5 developer or a Demi color of the same brand or color to not over process ur hair...u have beautiful long hair please take care of it also by the way if u ever want to get rid of this color use Malibu c hair color remover not the Direct Dye one ☝🏻 I repeat not the direct dye one u can do this weekly or twice cuz it removes up to 3 shades of color and this is vegan color remover then u can probably use the joico color remover that rewuires developer I think or activating lotion and it will most likely take the color out....I do recommend using atleast olaplex or the olaplex version of Sally’s brand and doing a stand alone treatment in between and also during coloring ur hair also if u decide to bleach it after this color removal service before doing any other color also get the clarifying treatment packet from Sally’s that works or the crystal treatment from Malibu c I am in love with all of this hair I love these tones also they do have a red vegan pigment to refresh ur Haircolor!!!! Also try Etae products it works for ur curl pattern!!! :) any questions if me (linaj_21 or jesusfnsc) please accept this hair knowledge :)

My hair color is kinda like yours now like it’s half black (my roots) and this brown brassy color from my old red hair. Ima use 40 volume developer n the L’Oréal hicolor in red n magenta do u think it will turn out good ? Bc I’m mad scared the first time I did it was inna salon 😭
Don’t use 40 vol! Lol I did this years ago and although it turned out good and I love it, 20 vol or 30 vol will work and it’s not so harsh on the hair. Just a tip when dying your hair yourself, start with lover volumes, so you know what your hair can take😊

Shae Glizzy it’s what people add to bleach but it is not bleach it has some of the bleaching properties but not the one that damages your hair!

Yes it lasts a long time (for me). The more you wash/rinse your hair the faster the color fades

I get what you're saying... but if you were paying attention she rinsed her hands a couple of times during the shampoo process. She would have to turn the water back on and off... that would be doing too much. Now it could have been turned down a bit, but it's not my water bill lol.
