    Looking at doing mine tomorrow, but slightly unsure where to put the jack stand, looks like you’ve gone for the control arm bush? Looked online, but not much info, seen a few say use the chassis rails, a few said don’t.

      It doesn't have chassis rails, it's a monocoque chassis.
      Front subframe near or at a mounting point. 👍🐷

    Hi just wondering would I need to bleed the brakes or not? Thanks

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  Před 18 dny +1

      No. You're not introducing air anywhere in the hydraulics

    Daft question but do you take the cap off the brake fluid so you can move the caliper piston thanks

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Never have done. It's worth checking if the fluid is brimmed and removing some as the fluid would overflow otherwise

      grease that you put to lubricate the areas, what did you apply?

    • @PiggyPower
      @PiggyPower  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Brake specific ceramic or copper if you must

    My 206 2001 didn’t pass inspection because the right rear brake is weaker than the rest and I cant get the drum brake off to fix it or swap it out. I tried smashing it with a hammer a lot and I just can’t get it off.

      @@droidking614 obviously I'm happy to help but if you're not sure how a brake shoe adjuster works, maybe it be good to get a friend round who knows how to safely work on vehicle brake systems? Do you have someone who could help?

      @@PiggyPower I’m decently ok with cars it’s just that I have tried the tips and trick online and I can’t reach the adjuster wheel. Maybe I thought there was another way but if it’s the adjuster wheel I have to get at then I have to buy a smaller screwdriver to turn it
