Always appreciate you posting these. Nice to see some of HOF base cards popping up here and there...yeah i was at the height of my collecting in the late 80's to early 90's, so yeah...that "sorta sucks", not completely though.

What you are missing is the joy of collecting. Each collection is unique and different. A collector can only stay within their budget, and most collectors stay within their era. Collecting cards didn't start out with money in mind, but greedy collectors have turned it into a money first venture. Not everyone has the means for a rookie, Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth, or Honus Wagner card.

@threeg6966 so why did they send them in to get graded and take a loss? Is that for the love of collecting? Why not give them away for free? If they loved collecting so much and hate how the collecting world is going then keep them raw and stop funding and flooding the grading companies. I guess I'm not awesome like you I keep all my cards raw, and in 7 years i will hand them down to my boy. Because I'm all about the money you know. Keep fighting the good fight, and POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!!✊️✊️✊️✊️✊️✊️
