      These poor tribal people actually deserve the benefits of ST quota. Unlike people like you who has all the basic foundation, yet leech from the quotas just because you belong to a community. This is leeching off from the underdeveloped, not uplifting them.

      I have been to northeast and travelled for 2 months in city, town, village, tribal areas, jungle but I was in Arunachal, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Assam. However I didn't record for youtube. I do travelling for getting to know about our beautiful country.

      We know wat situation u all r facing but, but there is one solution . Pakistan needs to under people development instead of religion. Ur government has taken so much loan from other countries , specially china . These loan r taken just to take kasmir ,after then wat china will ask for loan , how would u pay it back. Cause of this we hv to spent majority of our funds in defence and technology.

      All civil bodies, students union, even from the same tribe KSO, KIM etc. who comes out to raise the issue, all shuts their mouths once they finish talks with the state government. The state government and the leaders of tribal bodies are all on one side behind closed doors. The simple minded citizens will suffer and they will have communal problems, all because of the corrupted leaders.

      @@manglemp as far as I know big companies elsewhere in India can help local tribes people,communities in Manipur & other NE states wherever immediate help is required.
      Developement of infrastructure and creating employment are jobs of govt & business houses combined but that's long term.

    Lots of village in NE has the same situation ..My mom is also from Manipur, her village is around 280 km away from Imphal . No roads ,no electricity , no medical facilities , infact nothing is there from government side. They are living a hard life just by working in jhum field. . How I wish government of India do something about it!😟

    Yes this dowry tradition is in most of the North East as they are matrilineal in nature. Even property is transferred to Daughter not son unlike North India. Even though NE is comparatively less developed form rest of the country, Position of women is way better than the North India. Very good vlog. As I have told earlier this is what actually vlogging was supposed to be. Hats off to you ❤️

    I am from North Eastern State of India. I am following you since 3(three) years and enjoying the CZcams videos and like all the videos.
    Lots, lots thanks for exploring the remotest villages of the North East States of India and tried to reflect the downtrodden people of Manipur.
    Water is the most important and necessity in our daily lives. Without water we can't live in the families. At least water facilities should be provided by the Government of Manipur to such families at the particular locations where from the villagers can draw water in order to use for their daily purposes.
    I would also like to draw the kind attention of the Indian Travellers/ Tourists to reflect such lives of the people of the North East States.

    People sitting under AC room, writing and complaining about RESERVATION in India & asking for removal of Reservation but they have no idea how tribal people live on top of the mountain and earn their livelihood . Government never give important to tribal area for infrustucture facilities specially Northeast.

      Among 100 percent of tribal only 4 or 5 percent live in big cities and they are either from corrupted political party or hard working family. If we compare among Northeast tribal people and General of North India its like a Land and sky difference.
      Just come and visit tribal area how tribal live.
      And you mentioned about those tribal people who live in big cities remember their forefather get a chance to study becoz of reservation so now they can give their children a good education in big cities like General people have been getting good education since 17th century
