It's not really idiotic, imagine yourself defending this piece of fatherless work that is Amber, you have nothing to ask the witness that can get an iota of truth out of them, because they're not there to lie, they're there to testify against your client. All you really can bank on, is trying to attack the client's character and person to try and discredit their character, because as pointless and low as it is, it's your only course of action. Doesn't make it any less sad and pathetic though.

Elaine is attacking his character because she has no other options than to discredit him as a witness. It's sad to see someone fight so hard for lies just because they're hired to defend a case.

It's perfectly possible that the page he followed changed its name during the trial and he was unaware of that because he hadn't been on twitter since 3rd May. Regardless of that the jury clearly aren't fans of heard or her team. Numerous legal eagles present in court over the last few weeks have said that. They are done with Heard and her unprofessional and amateurish team.

A truly believable witness, a normal person telling the truth! If he wanted to be seen on TV, or be noticed, he surely would have dressed better. And knowing the cost of replacing the lights, $62, was priceless.

This witness was a breath of fresh air in a room full of hired witnesses or friends and family. Dude spoke only what he knows to be true. If anything, he hurts his business by airing out what happened and yet he didn't care.

I can't really call myself a fan. I've never seen any of the Pirates of The Caribbean movies. However I'm a fan of justice for people falsely accused. I am really rooting that Johnny Depp gets his name cleared and he can enjoy life fully again. I love that when it comes to this case for once everyone is on the same side.

I find it creepy how Amber never smiled during a testimony from one of Johnny's witnesses, but coincidentally and constantly grins after the witness mentioned he was in an emotionally abusive relationship and her yelling at Johnny had triggered him. And she looks straight at him with her head held high. I don't know if she's trying to intimidate him, but this isn't a good look for her when she's been the one considered the abuser. It makes me believe that she must think he's "a f*cking baby" and that no one will believe his emotionally abusive relationship because he's a man. She's not even smiling, she goes as far as smirking, just like she did in her deposition way back. Creepy.

Her attorneys are the most obnoxious and rudest lawyers I've ever seen in a court case. I know when testifying the witness is supposed to be polite to attorneys but I find their behavior so unprofessional. This guy seems to be nice and easy going. I think that this witness could have done a lot of damage if Ms Elaine knew how to cross examine! It was a risky and unnecessary move from Ms Vasquez's part to call him on the stand. Plus she sounded like Elaine each time she said "what if any"! And the most concerning thing was that Ms Elaine was very eager to point out to all of us out there watching that Ms Vasquez had fed the witness information!!! Seriously Ms Elaine??????

Me too. I think that's why Depp's team sued in Virginia, where judges can grant TV access. They tried to sue in London, where the libel laws make it easier to win, but it seems this case is more for public opinion than to get a result. I'm glued to this case like a ghoul, but I don't think it was a good decision for the judge to allow it to be televised. It's playing out like reality TV, not justice.

I’ve been seeing some people say that if Michael Jackson’s trials had been streamed live (even w/just this case we see the media lies right in our faces as though we’re not watching the truth LIVE), things would have been different. Think about the Neverland movie and all the other defamatory stuff they were allowed to make because the public weren’t given the choice to decide for ourselves but were instead TOLD what to believe.

I enjoyed how mad Heard's lawyers got when they entered evidence to call this guyb into question and then found out they'd have to enter it *unredacted*. Elaine looked like she was going to cry.
@@DavidHaddad It happens a few minutes after this clip ends. Elaine wants to submit as evidence a scandalous tweet from the witness and redacts a great deal of it. And then Depp's team objects that the redacted portion be unredacted not as testimony but as context.

Camille wanted the jury to see what Mr. Night had replied to. They wanted the jury to see the umbrella guy's tweet but the judge in my opinion is very biased if she didn't allow the full version to be allowed for the jury.
@@nehamahabir9098 The reason for that is because the jurors aren’t allowed to see or read about the case while it is going on. It keeps them from leaning one way or the other. Since the tweet was recent and happened during this trial, they can’t see it so that way they remain unbiased.
If I were the jury, this would be the nail in the coffin. Here is a genuine guy just trying to help, and there is the lawyer trying to besmirch him with unfounded and incorrect accusations. This would cloud my opinion of any of Elaine's work.

@@bigred4379 The difference here I think is that it's a witness, someone who ideally wouldn't have skin in the game. I don't think it's ever a good idea to unjustly harass a witness. Both Depp and Heard have skin in the game so it's more understandable when they're put under fire by opposing lawyers.

Someone from her PR team seems to have told Amber to change her court room behaviour - again, as Depp is being appreciated for his warm approach.
She's trying to smile like JD when he interacts with his lawyer. But she is not genuine so her smiles comes off as smirking. Check Mr. Rottenborn reaction with her when she passes notes he is serious he knows that fakery warmness.
Does it even cross her mind that a person may "want to be part of the trial" in order to tell the truth and see justice done? Is that so alien a concept for her to get her head around?

I feel that Mr. Night is a credible witness. Much more credible than AH's former friends and sister.
The contrast between Elaine and Camille is so stark. Elaine asks these questions without actually knowing the answers. When they answer the opposite of what she expects she just forges on as if she's winning and does nothing to prove her point.
Camille has facts data examples exhibits to support every question she asks. Amber keeps trying to say "I don't know" and Camille brings up exhibit after exhibit to prove exactly what she is arguing.

my observation: Amber started to look friendly today because we basically got the truth about her "career". JD lawyers basically proved that she is an extra or a "D celebrity" she just happened to have Aquaman to her belt which normally put a star on a map or a meteor rise but that did not happen to Amber because she suck at acting.
AH is trying to be close to her team the way Johnny is. She's never been that close to them or smiles next to them. She's a nutcase.

If one of your main arguments is continuously saying that the witnesses for Johnny are just “seeking 15 minutes of fame” and “are aware that this is being broadcasted” says quite a lot about this case
I actually liked how he said he isn't a fan, this makes it so much better and it clears out that he didn't stand on Johnny's side because he is a fan, he just wanted to tell the truth and be honest. And it's obvious that Johnny is a great guy.

It's seriously night and day between lawyers in this case. Heard's lawyers seem incredibly inept and unprepared whereas Depps lawyers are coming across as insanely good.

I agree to a certain degree, but keep in mind the evidence is stacked against Heard, it’s very, very difficult to defend an obviously guilty person especially in a civil case. It also seems that Heard hasn’t been completely honest to her lawyers.
Really liked this witness! He seemed to just tell what he saw and not care what ppl thought about it. She assumed everyone would be a JD fan, bad move on her part. Poor Elaine, she's gonna have to hide after this trial is over
Why did Elaine say he followed the "Johnny Depp Fan" account with no evidence?
Evidently some account that he did follow recently changed their handle/name to make him appear a JD fan. (At least that is what I read about that situation.)

Law school 101, never ask a witness questions unless you know how he or she is going answer! When Amber’s lawyer asked the witness if he was a fan of Johnny and he answered by saying he isn’t, that was a big mistake.

It’s hilarious from Elaine, insisting at this witness , about he is under oath (if he is telling the truth or being punish), bullying him about “being a fan of JD”, following the “umbrella guy”, etc, meanwhile her customer, lies more than Lucifer himself….
I liked this witness. He was down to Earth and was answering the questions with simple answers. If he was lying he would have told elaborate stories (like AH).

Amber and her lawyers accused everyone of being a fan or a liar. That was their only defense since witness after witness shut down their arguments. That and the make up thing over and over.
