      this isn’t just a holy roller thing this is a very popular trick in metal mixing it’s been around for a couple decades. even lorna shores producer did it on their new album, back in the day metallica when recording the black had a mono rhythm track that was shifted and heavily distorted that just played the same thing the rhythms did to kinda mix in with the bass and it sounded cool, joe barrisi did it on Nico Chained’s older songs when he remixed them. it’s a cool trick used across many genres for a different effect and it’s honestly worth checking out if you yourself are a writer/producer

    • @TheScott1670
      @TheScott1670 Před 3 lety +2

      @@datkid605 I really love it. I have a bunch of pedals but the whammy is the one I use the most at this point you can use it for a lot of genres outside of metal as well. It’s definitely worth buying in my opinion and super fun to play around with. Especially if you don’t have an 8 string or a 7 string and you want to play some lower tuned songs on your 6 you can just use the pedal to essentially drop tune your self into say, Drop E, and still have the string tension on your guitar

    Also, honourable mention for an insane whammy riff is Humanity's last breath, Bursting bowel of tellus at 2.17. One of the heaviest riffs ive heard in a long time, i dont think many bands can match busters sense for heaviness and just all the different aspects and elements that go into creating a heavy song but also a heavy and dark atmosphere. Insane stuff

      i bought my first floating bridge guitar recently, replaced all the strings, adjusted the height, and set up the intonation. It was a breeze, the bridge was 100% parallel to the body in the first try and it holds the tuning very well. And it is a Special bridge.
      I guess either people are too stupid/ignorant to the point they are incapable of learning such a simple system, or just plain lazy not to properly look something up before buying, so they just re-sell it and go around repeating the same bullshit about how horrible and borderline impossible it is to setup.
