I would just wonder about the psycological toll that would have on the 1940s era germans. Sure they would be "slightly" aware of jet engines, but not the firepower comeing at them. You would think a sizable portion of them would flee after they see whats happening all around them. Not knowing where this is all coming from. Especially when bunker after bunker is blown up. Just curious on the guys thoughts on that.

F-16 is such a nice plane that when they first came out a famous artist saw one and was convinced it was a drawing from another artist. Turns it ended up looking the way it did purely do to science lol. They look really clean even fully wingloaded. I recently read an account of a f-16 pilot that had a practice 2v2 mockup with 2 f-18s, the f-16 lost its leader 5 seconds after the merge, the guy turned the wrong way, and the other f-16 was able to 2v1 the f-18s and win. In a visual range fight there really deadly. Idk if this games modeled to have them perform the way they do caus of the blackouts. Theyre fast, can hold a turn better, and can sustain 9 gs no problem. F-18s have better yaw and some better nose authority. But a good f-16 pilot is deadly, with the new tech there throwing into them there going to be lethal i imagine the block 72's.

You’d plot your route out on a map before takeoff, work out how long it would take you to fly between waypoints at certain speeds, then face your heading and time yourself on that heading before turning to your new heading. That’s mainly for night flying, you’d use visual landmarks during the day.

d day with modern targeting would be a lot less bloody for the allies, the main reason the american landings were much more deadly than the rest of the allied forced is because air attack missed their targets, not disabling a big chunk of german defenses

1:16:50 if you had been somehow able to communicate to the Air assets that the Grim Reapers had captured a Tiger I Tank then it would have saved a whole lot of ordinance and maybe turned it into a certified Battlefield Style Moment with Airborne Infantry pushing along side it with death raining from above.
