In today’s video, we’ll discuss the top 10 most dangerous foods in the world. Plus we’ll cover a few tips, tricks, and alternatives for each to empower you with the knowledge to make small adjustments that can greatly impact your health and quality of life.
    10. Polyunsaturated Vegetable Oils:
Polyunsaturated oils like soybean, corn, sunflower, and canola are unstable and prone to going rancid, leading to an increased risk of heart disease and cancer. Instead, choose more stable oils like extra virgin olive and coconut oil and watch out for polyunsaturated oils in processed foods.
    9. Refined Grains:
Refined grains like white flour, white rice, and pasta lack fiber, vitamins, and minerals, causing rapid spikes in blood sugar levels and inflammatory damage which can lead to an increased risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Choose whole grains like almond or pumpkin bread, cauliflower rice, and zucchini noodles.
    8. Processed Meats:
Processed meats like salami, ham, hot dogs, and bacon contain nitrates and nitrites which have been linked to stomach and colorectal cancer, and can cause an 18% increased risk of coronary heart disease. Opt for nitrate-free and pasture-raised options, and treat processed meats as an occasional food.
    7. Instant Noodles:
Instant noodles contain high amounts of sodium, monosodium glutamate (MSG), and tertiary-butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ), which can cause a variety of health problems including high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. Choose healthier options like fresh vegetables, rice noodles, and lean meats.
    6. Canned Tomatoes:
Canned tomatoes contain bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical that can disrupt hormones and cause a range of health problems. Choose fresh tomatoes or look for BPA-free canned tomatoes.
    5. Farmed Salmon:
Farmed salmon are raised in crowded conditions and fed an unnatural diet that can result in higher levels of contaminants like pesticides and antibiotics, which can cause health problems. Choose wild-caught salmon, which is higher in omega-3 fatty acids and lower in contaminants.
    4. Margarine:
Margarine is made from vegetable oils that are hydrogenated to create a solid form, which produces trans fats that can raise LDL cholesterol and increase the risk of heart disease. Opt for butter, ghee, or plant-based spreads that are free of trans fats.
    3. High-Fructose Corn Syrup:
High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is a common sweetener found in many processed foods that can cause obesity, diabetes, and other health problems. Choose natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, or stevia instead.
    2. White Sugar:
White sugar is highly refined and lacks nutrients, causing rapid spikes in blood sugar levels that can lead to inflammation, insulin resistance, and an increased risk of type 2 diabetes. Choose natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, or stevia instead.
    1. Artificial Sweeteners:
Artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose, and saccharin are used in many diet sodas and sugar-free products and can cause headaches, dizziness, and other health problems. Choose natural sweeteners or reduce your sugar intake altogether.

Popcorn is actually somewhat healthy: Corn is not one of the more nutrient-dense vegetables: It doesn't have much nutrient value but when 'popped' it has slightly more than unpopped corn.
Salt and butter? Unhealthy. Salt does damage (decreases calcium in the body and raises blood pressure) and butter is pure fat which clogs arteries.
Try and make your own 'poopcorn' with only small amounts of butter and salt or...add other spices instead.

This is a good video and would help people who avoid the foods on this list. I don't agree with everything that is mentioned but overall it would be beneficial for most people. One example is eating fruit. Before the modern age fruit was harvested in mid-summer and the fall. They were meant to help increase fat stores for the harsh winter months. Now we can buy them year round. So be careful in how they are used. And a lot of fruits have changed and made sweeter due to cross-breeding. I would limit eating fruits where berries are the best. I am glad he mentioned grass fed/finished meat. They have far more nutrition than grain fed and the fat left in the pan is a great cooking oil.

I used to 'PINOCCHIO' love the "S.A.D." (Standard American Diet) as most Americans still do and probably always will.
In my opinion, this acronym (S.A.D.) is very apt: The American ways of eating is the most disease-promoting diet in history. I didn't always realize this but have come to this knowledge over the decades.
The "big boy upstairs" (God), like it or not, put the overwhelming majority of health benefits in produce and other natural plant foods.
Like it or not, the overwhelming majority of what Americans eat lacks real nutrition (micronutrients, phytochemicals, antioxidants, etc. etc.) and causes nothing but about every kind of UNNATURAL physical malady that has ever existed: Heart disease, strokes, cancer, diabetes, alzheimers, dementia, etc. etc.
These foods which have almost no nutritional value and which promote disease are meat, dairy, refined carbohydrates (white flour), salts, sugar, oils, etc. These things make up the overwhelming majority of the S.A.D.
For optimal health, you should be eating PREDOMINANTLY in the following order: Veggies, fruits, legumes/peas/beans, nuts/seeds, whole grains. Whole grains is not white flour; white flour is wheat, etc. that has had all the nutrients removed.
All of my own independent research has confirmed to me that what I have stated is factual, as extreme and controversial as my opinions may be.
    These are 'inconvenient truths.'

What they are not telling you here. #1 Heart and coronary disease can be heredity and often is. #2 Use of illegal drugs and/or alcohol can damage your heart and your major organs. Those are the 1st two questions they ask you during a heart attack scare. Diabetes and high blood pressure are important too. Nutritionists don't want to include these facts putting the full cause of heart disease on the food you eat. Food is in important part of your health so these recommendations are great but you're not being told the complete story.

I've watched several of these video's now, and have concluded that no food is 100% good for every part of your body. Some foods are great for your bones, but not your bowels. Some are good for your heart, but not your brain, etc.
The key is moderation, and combine any diet with plenty of water.
Alcohol, soda and sugar are the ones to truly avoid. The rest are largely dependant on individual circumstances like lifestyle, genetics or age.

Largely spot on on this video but i question if nitrates are an issue as our bodies produce 70mg of of nitrates without eating any daily.
The cholestetol hypothesis is archaic and a fallacy. If cholesterol were a bad actor then why are our veins and capillaries never damaged only the high pressure arteries leaving the heart primarily. Cholestetol is the repair mechanism for damage to the arteries like blood platlets are the repair mechanism for a cut on your arm. Blaming cholestetol for the damage is like blaming the scab for the cut on your arm. High blood glucose habitually causes the damage from our high glycemic, sugar, starch and grain foundation diets.
I dont just think poly processed seed oils are bad, excess oil even mono or any pure fat is not what our digestive system was designed for. It was designed to eat the avocado or the olive with the fiber not just the pure fat oils. It just so happens that most of the calories are coming from seed oils and grains.
More importantly is the fact we are consuming to many calories in general. Then we you consider most calories come from pure sugar-grain and pure fat-oils into a digestive system meant for whole food all those pure fuel calories lead to overload in the liver leading to metabolic dysfunction, disease and obesity.
If people would stick with meat and vegetables as their diet foundation they would be largely far better off. The body is not designed to digest pure sugar, starch, grain and oil.

To the sick or those who want to sincerely repent for their wrongdoings to reconcile hatred.
Why are we always suffering, mentally stressed, can get sick all over the organs system, bones and joints?
Our illnesses come from our karmic creditor, who we have harmed in many previous lives and also in this life. Because of resentment, the karmic creditors come to collect the debt by harming us.
Where did all these wrong doings come from? Because of 3 poisons: Greed, Hatred, and Ignorance. From our previous lives to this present day, these 3 poisons have caused us to harm countless sentient beings and have created bonds liking and hatred with one another.
For example: You have been harming many beings, animals in the past and present life, then the retribution will be you being sick. Whichever parts of the body you are harming them, that part of your body will be particularly painful.

They will not revere the Triple Jewel, or respect their parents. They will be lacking in the Three Bonds. The Five Constants that safeguard the universal obligations between people will be in disharmony and disarray. Beings will be poor, destitute, lowly, and vile. Their six faculties will suffer impairment. All day long they will engage in killing and harming. Moreover, they will not be of equal status; some will be wealthy while others will be poor. What are the conditions leading to these various different rewards and retributions? We disciples pray that the World Honored One will compassionately explain each one of these for us."
The Buddha told Ananda and the assembly of great disciples, "You should now listen attentively. Good indeed, good indeed! I will clearly set forth all of this for you. All men and women of the world, whether they be poor and lowly or wealthy and noble, whether they be undergoing limitless sufferings or enjoying blessings without end, are all undergoing the rewards or retributions which are due to causes and effects from their past lives...Then the Buddha spoke these verses on cause and effect:
Wealth and dignity come from one's destiny
From causes planted in lives in the past.
People who hold to this simple principle
Will reap good fortune in lives in the future.
Kind men and women, listen to the causes,
Hear and remember this Sutra's reminder
Of the causes and effects of karmic deeds
In the past, in the future, and in the present.
Cause and effect is no small care.
True are my words; don't take them lightly.
Why are some people officials at present?
Because with gold they gilded the Buddhas
In their past lives, long long ago...www.cttbusa.org/cause_effect/cause_and_effect.htm

Left over spaghetti sauce frozen into individual servings for a quick heat and eat meal with noodles. I try to have a use for everything. I think learning from a depression era Mom taught me. I have no junk foods,/processed food, candy in my home.

It's wonderful to hear that your grandmother lived a long and healthy life. Barley is indeed a nutritious grain that can be beneficial for many people, especially when incorporated into a balanced diet. Like many whole grains, barley is a good source of dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Some potential health benefits of barley include:
Improved heart health: Barley is rich in soluble fiber, which can help lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Better blood sugar control: The soluble fiber in barley can also help regulate blood sugar levels, which is beneficial for individuals with diabetes or those at risk of developing diabetes.
Digestive health: The fiber in barley can support healthy digestion and regular bowel movements.
Kidney health: Some studies suggest that barley may have properties that can benefit kidney function, but further research is needed in this area.
Weight management: The fiber content in barley can help promote a feeling of fullness, which may aid in weight management.
It's important to note that individual dietary needs and responses to foods can vary greatly. While barley can be a healthy addition to many people's diets, it may not be suitable for everyone. People with certain health conditions, such as celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, need to avoid barley and other gluten-containing grains.
As with any dietary choice, it's best to consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian to determine what foods are most appropriate for your specific health needs and goals. They can provide personalized guidance and recommendations based on your individual health status.

The food industry is a complex and diverse sector that encompasses a wide range of products and practices. Not all foods sold on the market are inherently dangerous or harmful to health. However, some foods may have negative health impacts if consumed in excessive amounts or as part of an unbalanced diet.
The reasons for the availability of certain foods that may be considered unhealthy or potentially harmful can be multifaceted:
Consumer demand: People have varied tastes and preferences, and food companies often cater to consumer demand. Some individuals may prefer highly processed or indulgent foods, leading to their availability in the market.
Economic factors: Certain foods may be cheaper to produce and mass-produce, making them more accessible and prevalent in the market.
Marketing and advertising: Clever marketing and advertising strategies can influence consumer choices and drive sales of specific food products, even those that may not be the healthiest options.
Cultural and regional preferences: Different regions and cultures have unique dietary traditions and food preferences, which influence the availability of specific foods in various markets.
Lack of regulations: In some cases, certain foods may be available despite potential health concerns due to the absence or lax enforcement of regulations governing food safety and labeling.
It is essential for consumers to be informed about the nutritional content of the foods they choose and to make educated decisions based on their individual health needs and goals. Reading nutrition labels, seeking balanced diets, and practicing moderation are key factors in maintaining a healthy eating pattern.
Regulatory bodies and public health organizations play a critical role in advocating for and implementing policies that promote food safety, consumer awareness, and overall public health. These measures are essential for protecting consumers and ensuring that the food industry provides safe and nutritious options.
