Mammillaria is one of the largest genera in the Cactus family. Today there are 185 species in it, it is among the three most numerous, along with the genera Opuntia and Echinopsis.
This cactus stands out among cacti with extremely diverse spines and attractive flowers and for this reason is very popular among cactus lovers. Mammillaria is considered simple in culture, although some species are very difficult to grow.

I rescued some mamrilla cactus's that were laying on a dirt road and gifted them to my mother. I took a couple of the seed pods and just planted on today. 😎

@@Mwagreen Yes they looked way better with a few months being a pot with potting soil and getting watered once or twice a week. They started growing pink flowers that look exactly like peyote flowers.

@@Mwagreen If you go on my CZcams channel you can see a picture of the cactus's. I gifted them to my mother. The seed I planted didn't sprout and grow yet! Just the rescued ones.
