Now imagine how much cooler this already great brawl would've been if Gus hadn't threw away Brontes for no real reason, and actually used Hexados in the battle. Gus losing a 1v4 against the Assail System would've been even more impactful.
Yeah, those bakugan are sweethearts. They sacrificed themselves for gus and didn't care about the consequences.

Gus’ skills are shown here. He may haven’t halved Zenoheld’s Life Gauge as Hydron did, nor did he destroy Farbros like Drago and Helios did, or exceeded his power level as the Ancient warriors did, but he fought with all of his strength and endurance and he pretty much lasted against Assail Farbros longer than Hydron did. It also seems that he earned Zenoheld’s respect. One big question that was never answered and no one seemed to talk about is why on Earth Zenoheld spared Gus and Vulcan. I’ve got several theories.
1: Farbros was depleted because of the excessive battling and Zenoheld wanted to maintain his strength for his battle against the Brawlers.
2: Vulcan was too strong physically to be destroyed.
3: He wanted Gus to suffer and perhaps after reflection he’d give Gus a second chance which I kind of find unlikely. At his worst Zenoheld had Lync and Volt killed for betraying the Vexos, so I guess by this time Gus and Spectra’s betrayal didn’t enrage him that much. Otherwise he wouldn’t have let them leave the Mother Place.
4: Fourth and final possibility yet seemingly unlikely, he genuinely respected Gus’ loyalty to Spectra and his relentless conviction to avenge Zenoheld’s mockery, as well as the realisation of the extent of bondage of Vulcan and Gus. Now, Zenoheld did kill Elico and Hexados, but it’s possible that he was shocked by Gus’ relentless lack of weakness even in the face of death of his Bakugan, which may caused Zenoheld to respect Gus even more. While Spectra and Gus betrayed Hydron, Zenoheld may have respected Spectra’s original insatiable hunger for power, and Spectra didn’t betray Zenoheld personally, he betrayed the Vexos, which at the time was technically also led by Hydron, thus why he spared him. Lync and Volt got the worse of it - they deserted the Vexos under Zenoheld’s leadership this he had them killed.

I havent watched Bakugan in nearly a decade but i always assumed it was because Zenoheld wanted to kill Spectra and make Gus watch as punishment
Gus truly showed his power in this fight against Zenoheld he may not have not won or depleted Zenoheld’s life gauge but his loyalty to Master Spectra proves that Gus and Spectra have a special bond and relationship between student and master also Vulcan and Gus survived in the end of this series and both were still alive rip Elico sad to see him and Hexados die.

For all of Gus's near non-existent good character development throughout season 2 of New Vestroia, it was hard not rooting in some way for Gus here, even if a part of me knew it was an impossible hope to wish for against Zenoheld at the time. Also, I was shocked that both Hexados and Elico died in this battle, I remembered Elico dying by Farbros, but didn't know Hexados did too, and seeing both getting killed protecting a extremely loyal Vulcan as well as Gus was surprising if not saddening.
Transducer is a command card, It takes away the opponent's Bakugan's power level and transfers into your bakugan until there is nothing left.
First time I watched this I was way too young to pick up on the fact that Elico actually DIED. Now it just sucks even more.

Gus should've pull the gate card called power pressure. With that, command card It stops far Farbros's movement, but there's something you should know if he has more than 400. He can't activate any abilities.

-Bakugan dies when damaged so badly that it cannot return to its ball form and heal.

Technically speaking,Gus won this fight. Zenoheld is the worst brawler of the entire franchise and when he feels that is about to lose,goes out and use Assault Formation to make a rift of G-Power between him and it's opponent that can only be closed with a Maxus Formation. And the only time he doesn't use it,is because he's cheating with the field itself. When he summons Assault Formation,it's because he know that he will be defeated otherwise.
