Thanks Vu! Most of the local nurseries and Facebook garden members here are wrong and practice/preach infrequent deep irrigation for all trees. Naveed is absolutely right. Getting the soil and irrigation right is everything. I learned late. If more people followed his practices, there would be more productive mango trees in the Valley.

Naveed is a great guy. I remember when he first joined our Phoenix Fruit Growers site. I knew much of this...but still learned a Lot. ESPECIALLY about the shorter pruning season here ! Makes great sense !!

Very awesome video! Amazing to see this! I'm trying to hopefully to get my yard to some point where I have this many varieties fruiting. I'm in coastal California. Many things parallel us except for a few things. I wish i been able to prevent mangos from blooming when pruning. Seems to bloom with or without stem tips no matter when it' prune. Thank you!

I live in Anthem and have a “Fruit Cocktail” variety that I bought locally. I’m curious about the man in this video- does he sell any of his cultivars because I would like to purchase a larger one to provide shade to my new mango tree.
