How to make a PS4 Update USB drive.
-Format a USB stick to FAT32 format with at least 8GB capacity
-Download 'PS4UPDATE.PUP' file listed above
-Create a folder named 'PS4' in the root of the USB drive then create folder named 'UPDATE' in the 'PS4' folder
-Copy 'PS4UPDATE.PUP' to 'UPDATE' folder
-Insert USB drive in the USB port of your PS4 and follow the instructions in this video.

Dude you are a life saver! Took 3 hours to get it working...I did initialize ps4 and at fist it restarted and showed the PlayStation symbol but everything went black and the blue light kept blinking for 20 min....I repeated everything and it finally worked! I'm so happy I was literally on the verge of crying I have no cable at my house and no computer so I'm sure you can imagine the panic

Hey man I'm having the same problem...put my ps4 into safe mode and clicked number 6(internalize ps4) it did everything in the video but once my ps4 restarted the PlayStation semble popped up on my tv but only for a few seconds now my tv screen is black and the blue light on my ps4 has been blinking for 15 min and I'm afraid to turn it off...do u have any idea what's happening? Please give any advice u have!

the update was installed in ps4 bt after that its still saking to initialize ps4 and wipe all data (which i dont wanna do help)
Your hard drive is dying. Make a backup using a USB hard drive. We have a video on our channel that shows you how to do this. After backing up replace the internal hard drive (link is the description)

You need a new hard drive if you are getting stuck at 99%. We sell those on our site. Links are in the description box.

Every option for me is useless, Restore Default Settings only restarts my PS4, the Initialize PS4 isn't working, and the 7 option (Reinstall System Software), says that I have to update the system software, I tried with the Internet, nothing, I formatet all my usb's that I have in the house on FAT32 in Command Prompt, nothing, it says that no usb device is connected, help meeee. It's my 2nd time when this thing happens to me and the last time I choosed the 7 option and it worked, but now everything is useless.... I need help please.

You need a new bluetooth chip. Unfortunately this is not a repair you will be able to perform at home. The network module would have to be soldered off using a BGA rework station and a new one soldered back on.

U might have a 3rd party shell on the controller, try taking the back off and trimming the overmolded plastic surrounding the pin hole access for the sync button on the controller shell

You hold down the psf on button
You should have at least one or two available. If the rest are not selectable your data is most likely gone. It is also possible that your hard drive is deteriorating.

Gary Denver I fixed it it was quite easy all I did was turn the ps4 of completely and then I let it rest for 30 mins then I moved the power cable to a new outlet and then I reset the controller it got fixed but sometimes it will randomly happen again so I just repeat the process

I made a file named PS4 and another file named UPDATE and I put the update in the folder
When I put the usb in the ps4 my game was off and I went into safe mode and I went to initialize PS4 but reinstall software and it said the update file canât be used đ
Like I said in the video. If ANY of these steps fail you need a hard drive. Check the description box for PS4 hard drives.

You most likely have a defective bluetooth module. Even if the controller is plugged in, it talks to the PS4 via a bluetooth connection. You need the replace that chip. Cheers

Bro but when im in safe mode i cant move to another option in the safe mode menu im stuck on one option
if you tap into the only option it gives you (which is probably the second initialize ps4 option) a couple of times, it should bring up the other options. if none of the other options work but still appear, then it most likely is your hard drive and you have to replace it.
