I know this is an old post but in case others pass by…
I think it’s interesting that some people want to be discreet about perfume or cologne. I guess I just never considered those things. I’ve only considered spraying my perfume in an area away from others in case they’re sensitive. I don’t think about scents as an attraction even though I know some people do. If I pass someone that smells good all I think is “oh wow that person smells good” and “I wonder what they’re wearing”.

Thanks so much for the recipe. I have been wearing cologne since I was 15 (we didn't have showers after gym class), and it became a lifelong habit. When my kids were young my wife once asked them about the fragrance of a cologne that she was considering buying me for Christmas. They replied, "It smells like dad." I think it is nice that they associated me with a pleasant smell. Anyway, I have tried commercial solid cologne and many smell like bathroom deodorizers, so I think it is great that I now have the formula to make my own. Thanks for the tip!

I’m asthmatic and perfumes do have the tenancy to be irritating. I don’t often ware perfumes myself because it gives me a headache. I can get away with a light scent that isn’t strong though. So someone spraying their perfume close to me is gonna be really annoying. I like to breathe properly😹 There’s this guy at work that sometimes walks around spraying air freshener and fit some reason he has to do it around people. Not the same as perfume I know but it’s something similar to someone spraying perfume near me. I don’t know why he does it. The windows are open when he does it too. Like don’t spray any fragrant things around people. It’s not hard. At least be mindful of how close you are

Grab it from his hand and check it out that open window. I feel for you. The last place I worked at they bought those trash bags that have some sickly sweet scent on them. All this guy did was change the trash in the room I was working in, not his fault of course, I had to move the trash can out of the room; it was giving me a headache

Great video! There was a lot of talking, but it's not big deal. It was informative and it had funny moments that were worth it too! We had a video mark for what people wanna know and we call it a day. I was looking at how to turn cologne into an oil base, but I guess that's not possible if it has alcohol already. I came across this video though I didn't know about this until now!

How do you get an essential oil of a cologne that you like personally? For example I really love wanted by night how would one go about getting a concentrated oil of a fragrance like that?

You would probably need isopropyl myristate to stabilize the fragrance.
