I am a type 2 diabetic and started making kefir at home two months ago. I was only taking 1/4 cup a day. Yesterday, I started taking a 1/2 cup before every meal. I only eat lunch and dinner. I was astounded at the results. My blood sugar has been in the 90’s including my fasting blood sugar. I am convinced this is the answer I have been looking for!

Thank you Donna for this wonderful teaching. I started following your teaching several years ago; making and using kefir on a daily basis. I am 72, healthy, strong and active. I take no meds and I control my blood pressure and sugar level with kefir and other healthy lifestyle choices. Over the years I have shared kefir and kefir grains with dozens of people and they too have had successful results. Thanks again for everything you do and thank God for the gift of kefir. Paul

one of the qualities I admire most about your outlook is always promoting the good without dwelling on the negative!
I watched a star wars movie, one of the newer ones, I can't remember the name....
Anyway there's a scene at the end where things look real bleak and this woman fighter puts herself in danger to save a friend and when he ask why she said something like this,
" we don't win this war by killing the bad, we win by saving the good ".
That line really resonated with me and I feel so much peace and hope listening to your videos ❤️
Thank you for what you are doing!
Ps, I did exactly what you said not to and jumped right in to kefir, kombucha and kraut.....😕
The detox reactions were not pleasant but I'm thankful for the experience and that I am feeling better each day😊

You are telling my story. I had Gestational Diabetes with both pregnancies, gone after births, back 22 years later with Diabetes 2. I was probably pre-diabetes all that time. Then I found you Donna 8 yrs ago or so. I made my own keifer, kombucha and fermented vegetables. But then I was introduced to another path using fruit for detox and cell regeneration. I was taught that fermented foods wasn't good. HOW WRONG WAS THAT?? I unfortunately went down that path for a couple of years and it did me great harm. I'M BAAACCKKKK!! Jan 2020 I had a brain melt and went to ER. Found my sugars were 306, blood pressure 186/102, Cat Scan and Brain MRI showed I had had a mini stroke, Next day introduced to Healthy Keto and Intermittent Fasting and got rid of all sugar and grains etc. But still I'm being told keifer is too much sugar!!! Yet your diabetes was changed so much by doing it. God showed you this path to take. Do you have a chart showing how much sugar is in it? Kombucha also, store bought has a lot of sugar. I'm not supposed to have over 2 grams of sugar in any product. I hope you have time to answer this. I want so badly to start making all 3 again. I know you are highly successful now and may not have time. Good for you, Congratulations!! Can't wait to get your low carb book!!!! YUM!!!

Prior to making my own, I bought Redwood Hill Goat Kefir (made with Grade A pasteurized goat milk), for several years. Can you look at their ingredients to see whether they are good? However, I have made approximately 4 gallons of Kefir using frozen raw goat milk @ $27/2 liters- OUCH! Thanks for the tips, like not rinsing with water: I was wondering why it was taking so long for grains to grow. I was using napkins + rubber bands during ferment; now using a plastic lid to cover, not a screw lid, but once it's made does it matter whether the lid is plastic or metal? Also what is a good daily amount for a healthy person, and drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach... prior to sleep...?
