Some Dean Martin & some Frank Sinatra & Billie Holliday record’s played that night too. My husband was converted to the Mills Brothers that night. I’d been hearing them my whole life. My mom was named Margie he’d Change ‘Mary’ in the song 🎶Cab Driver🎶 to ‘Margie’, serenaded her with & without the record playing. I saw a British guitar teacher do a lesson using “Paper Doll” tonight & I got nostalgic for the other songs I grew up with. So glad this is posted. Mom died last year, daddy’s been gone dine 1992. I was so fortunate to have been born in 1950 with a Dad who loved the Big Bands, family who played German, Italian and me with the '40s on up. Such wonderful talent.

Deans favorite singers. He would see them in person when he was a young man. WOW dreams do come true. He dreamed big , struggled but made the big time. Thanks Dean for believing in yourself for the world to enjoy.
