Raising Cane has one of the best buissnes models ever: simplicity. There's literally only 7 things on the menu. Chicken tenders, French fries, coleslaw, texas toast, dipping sauce, and drinks. Everything else is just combo choices. Even the new sandwich is just another version of a tender combo. Brilliant. Love it! ❤
And not a single burger
They could do with a spicy chicken tenders combo though. 🌶️ 🔥 🥵 ... 😋
Much like Chick Fil A and In n Out.
I’m a big fan of Cane’s.
Don’t forget ketchup 😂
One of the most consistent fast food places out there. Love canes
The Napoleon Dynamite poster in the background 🤣
What is the other one?
@@wheelbarrow2803 The Rat Pack!
@@KSGomez88 Thank you!
@@wheelbarrow2803 My dad has that poster in his pool room 🤣
@@KSGomez88 any movie with billiards in it is my kind of movie.
LOVE Raisin Cane....it is a limited menu but they excel at what they do
Shout out to Napoleon Dynamite

The Legend of Legends
I LOVE Raising Canes. I think that their chicken is the perfect blend of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. also, their Canes Sauce is amazing. I couldn't care less that their menu is limited. I'd rather have quality than quantity. I've never had a bad meal there. The chicken is always good.
But what are the fries like? I love crinkle cut fires but I want them crispy on the outside and the ones in this video did not look crispy or even fully cooked. Is that sauce just 1000 island dressing?
Yay! You finally used condiments! Makes food so much better doesn’t it?😊
It's almost as if they never read any of their comments. Although I did say something kind of negative once and Minnie did chastise me. I didn't care though because I don't watch the videos for her, #1 she hardly ever talks, #2 she hardly ever smiles and #3 she always looks grumpy. What is the deal with her wearing Sunglasses on the top of her head inside the house?
Raising Canes originated in my home state Of Louisiana ! Todd Graves former student from LsU . He is a very kind entrepreneur and believes in giving back.
he was on that TV show, Secret Millionaire
From Louisiana myself, the first Rasin’ Canes I went to was over in Monroe.
I work for Raising Cane’s on the construction team. I’ve followed you all for years, so I was excited to see this video! Hope to build one closer to you all one day!
Ive had to use the Cloe slaw lid as a spoon cause they left the fork out. You do what you gotta do to get the deliciousness of raising canes I to your belly
The more surface area on a chip as in "crinkle cut" or "waffle cut" increases the surface area to be fried and crispy'fied, increasing the fried flavor.
Nah, they are never crispy.
@@JoeBoKnows I was wondering about that because those fries didn't look fully cooked to me, they were really white and I need a crispy fry.
@@lennybuttz2162 yea man. Worst party about canes.
When someone one walks in the cashier will welcome you loudly or will tell the kitchen 3 or some other communication, that's when they put the chicken fingers into fryer. So it's fast, fresh and hot. I heard an interview with the owner many years ago.
Their sauce really makes the chicken and fries so much better.
you can also get a PAN of chicken fingers or fries for around $26... and you can get LOTS of more sauce, they will fill a large cup for you for a price.... also their lemonade and iced tea are wonderful and you can get half lemonade and half tea as well....
Raising Cane's has the best fast food chicken tenders (or "fingers" as the restaurant calls them).
And, Raising Cane's has no "burgers" on the menu 😂😂😂
Raising Cane’s is popular with college students-it’s comfort foid thematic everyone knows, and the small menu helps control food costs and reduces errors with orders.
I live on a mountaintop in Wyoming…and I am jealous!!
Love your show, James and Millie!!
Hug precious Archie for me, please!! 🤗❤️
Devil's Tower?
Tetón?
Have they fixed the road yet?
They don't have potato chips at Raising Cane's they only have french fries!
In England, French Fries are called chips. Thus why they’re calling them chips.
@@chadbumgarner5930 That's an American restaurant! Which has the correct name on the menu board for that particular product!
The thing is Raising Cane’s charge for extra sauce. I think 79 cents for one extra packet, which I think is a rip off.
I remember after hurricane Rita hit Lake Charles in 2005, Raising Canes was one, if not the first restaurant open for business when they cleared the roads. Almost 20 years later, I still haven't forgotten how good their food was after 3 weeks of MREs.
Millie is a Raising Cane’s fan, especially of the sauce.
There is a perfect copy cat canes sauce on the internet. I make it often.
He was ready for that chicken strip sandwich ( chicken burger) 😂😂 1:12 lol
Love Raising Cane. Every time I visit my daughter I go there. Wish there was one close to me.
You're almost learning how to eat food and that's cool , without everything falling off of your food you're trying to eat😂😂
This is one of the best fast food places around their food is always fresh it never sets under a heat lamp
Raising Cane's is so good!! They are very limited in what they offer but if you want chicken fingers it's the best place to go!
Congratulations on your beautiful wedding!! Thanks for the video ❤
I love rain canes
Millie is like gimme that sammich boy lol 🤣😆😆
I've only been once. It shocked me how soft and tender the filets were. It just melted in my mouth. Hardly had to chew. I think they were the best I ever had.
Sauce! Finally.
- mango
My fried chicken place closed, and it's half hour drive to get Slims, Canes, or Popeyes😣. Come on Bojangles, really need you in my neck of the woods.
Yes I love Raising Canes chicken tenders! I do not like their cole slaw so when I order a chicken tenders meal, I ask them instead of cole slaw, add an extra Texas Toast which is the thick garlic toast. They can do that! :)
you can get the chicken sandwich with garlic bread buns.. It is amazing
wait wut ? how
@viper04af You just ask them for butter on the buns, it's no extra charge.
I’m a new Texan, and you’ve just talked me into trying Raising Canes.
Ehh it's so bland. You'll be disappointed. People must be eating terrible food or live out in the boonies when they say how great it is
5:29 - Re: the "chip butty" sandwich in England (French fries in a sandwich): the US equivalent would be the potato chip sandwich (you call them "crisps") which is a part of Trailer Park cuisine.
I love their tenders and sauce but I have to say they have The best sweet tea in the south!❤❤
So glad you tried Cane’s! They have the best chicken. It’s hard to believe it’s ‘fast food’ because it is so good! And I’m glad you tried the sauce - it’s a must. I usually have them add an extra sauce, so I have enough to dip the chicken tenders in. And, on the contrary: I applaud your ingenuity when eating the Cole slaw without a utensil! 👍🏻😁
I've never tried them, but looks great!
I went to Raising Cane's for there chicken fingers and exactly the size I got chicken the size of a fingers cost me 7 dollars. I never went back.
Glad to see you guys are you the sauces to dip!
Enjoy!!
One opened up down the street from where I live in February and I still haven’t ate there yet because every time I drive by the line is around the block
There is a Raising Cane's about a 15 minute drive from my house. I will have to try it. I will ask for the Texas toast butty. Good to see you!
Every time I go to canes I get a box combo with a toast and a Dr.pepper
Best chicken fingers in the business, even better when you live near a college and they stay open till like 2am for a midnight snack..
Yep, Cane's only does one thing but they do it well.
I'm such a fan of Raising Cane's ❤❤. They have a small menu and do it right!! My favourite chicken shop. I love your videos 😍! It's exciting to see you try food I love ❣️
I don't know if it's a company-wide thing, but when I hit my local Cane's drive-thru, they always say something like "Hey, hey, hey! You ready for chicken today?"
I am genuinely intrigued by your reaction because there is a "Raising Canes" near me and I was always suspect about the food. The menu is limited. It ALSO has Chick-Fill-A DIRECTLY across the highway from Canes. Canes NOT crowded. Chick-Fil-A 10 car deep drive thru.....
Raising canes originated in Louisiana. Their sauce has got a slightly spicy Louisiana kick to it. Everybody loves their sauce, but I personally like their honey mustard sauce better. ❤
Get the feeling that Millie would be satisfied w/ just the fries.
Me and my brother ate at one of those recently we loved it.
I do love the krinkle cut fries, they are my favorite. The best I have ever had were at A&W Root Beer Stands in the Mountain West States. The Root Beer is amazing and tastes so much better than what you can buy in grocery stores, the burgers, chili dogs, and other items on the menu were always really good, but the krinkle cut fries were always the best food in the store. The only problem was that most of the stores didn't have the krinkle cuts but other types of french fries. It was always a bummer when you had to order the curly fries or just regular shoe string fries.
That's why I always get extra sauce.
They are also calling our french fries chips, Brits don't have a clue, chips and chicken burgers, are you kidding me!
The United States is not the center of the universe. Other places have other names for things. Cope.
Why are you so bothered by another countries words for their food? Everyone knows Brits call fries “chips”, take the stick out of your azz.
I don't really understand it. I have never once had a problem with them calling fries chips or potato chips crisps, or even lift for elevator, lory for truck, trainers for tennis shoes, or many other of the loads of different names we have for things. In fact, as an Anglophile I've loved most of them and used them myself many times. However when it comes to calling chicken sandwiches (or fish sandwiches) burgers, I cringe. I haven't a clue why it triggers me but I have learned after watching many of their videos as well as many other British people's videos that I am far from alone. The comments in many British and Australian videos are filled with people letting them know it's triggering for whatever reason.
@@bradparnell614
With all due respect, that sounds like a you problem. They aren’t responsible for anyone else’s triggers. Especially over something so ridiculous.
I don't deny that for an instant. I don't hold anyone else responsible. I also know for whatever reasons I can't explain, I'm far from being the only one who has this problem.
My family orders extra Cain sauce when we place our food order.
There is a Raising Cane's near me. I've eaten there a number of times. They have a limited menu but they do it very well. Culver's is the only other fast food place that I can think of that has crinkle cut fries.
Arby's does.
I feel so bad for British folks that the only thing they have is KFC - which is crap when it comes to chicken. They were good back in the day because it was basically the only name in town. Now, in the USA, we have a ton of options.
We don't have Raisin Canes up here in Washington State but I ate at one in Las Vegas and I loved it. I wish we had them here but since we only recently started getting Chic-fil-a's I'm not holding my breath for RC. We have very limited options up here.
Love the fact that Napolean D is over your shoulder.
Worst movie ever...
@@rich_t Yeah but I laughed at it, I'm pretty simple that way. It was pretty bad though.
You're actually learning how to eat food , keep it up
I hope the Beesleys do a video on their opinions of American food.
We make the sauce at home. Pretty easy recipe and can be found online
Love Canes.. Puts KFC to shame
Love Canes but wouldn’t so far as to say it puts KFC to shame…
I had no idea what this Raising Canes was and I live 5 mins away from one.....
Check it out. Get a Box Combo, Butter on Both Sides of the Toast, add a Honey Mustard and enjoy ❤
If you don't like Cole Slaw switch it out for more toast or fries.
Yeah, they are good. They started right here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I get a box combo, extra sauce, add a finger, with a coke or sweet tea.
I do like Raising Canes but haven’t been there in a long time.
Great sweet tea!
Their chicken tenders taste really good ..... but they are really, really hot when they first come out. You guys are good .. The number one rule of American manners is your guests are not to be made to feel bad. You"re to be gracious with guests.
Closet Raising Canes to me is about an hour away. Let's say I have driven there more than once to get it.
I haven't tried yet...just recently got one in our area
One time I dipped a cup of the sauce into another cup of the sauce and the people from CERN called and told me to stop.
It's all about the sauce. The sauce and nothing but the sauce.
Yeah because their chicken is so bland and tasteless lol
When you're in the United States it's no longer a chip it's a french fry. 😊
Hawaii's most popular fried chicken place.
The sauce is basically mayo, Worcestershire, and black pepper. It's really easy to make.
Ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mayo, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
I sometimes feel I am the only one who knows that Cane's has a Honey Mustard sauce that is seriously the best I over had. Am I the only one who gets it?
Raising Cane's chicken is Bland as hell it's the sauce that makes the chicken that's it
Yep. They need a spicy version of those chicken tenders. 🐔
🌶️🔥
Hey, I was just going to make the same comment.
Thank you. Someone who isnt a complete dope. The chicken is so bland i dont know why everyone falls all over themselves about it. They must live where tumbleweeds are rolling by their house and they dont have any other fast food so they think Raising Canes is so good LOL
I swear they’re only going to fast food chicken joints so they can keep saying “chicken burger”. AAAAHHHH!!!!
Clearly a conspiracy! 😂
Them and the H's here on holiday/ vacation. 🇬🇧
They both do that.
😆😅😂
chicken SANDWICH
"Double Dippers" Nope!
Everything is good quality the difference is that we dont over cook it
We are fans of Raising Cane's
Wow they are still calling our chicken sandwich a chicken burger after 174 comments letting them know they were wrong, I quess they don't read the comments!
They shot this while in the U.S. like all the other fast food videos.
@@smittysmith4746 why are you so personally offended by this?
More like over 1000 comments. And they had Popeyes a long time ago so theyre well aware from back then it's not called a stupid chicken burger. But yeah thats IF they read comments. Which it seems like they dont
@@user-wr9ej6xe4j
They filmed this all well before posting. You clearly don’t know how CZcams works.
@@amandaBlair334 I forgot more than you will ever know about you tube! They tried popeys 6 months ago and called them chicken burgers then with over 1000 comments that told them there were not a chicken burger but a chicken sandwich and frys no chips! 6 months later they are still calling them chicken burgers and chips, they rarely read the comments!
Texas toast for sopping up the rest of the sauce
I gained so much weight from Raising Cane's when I lived in the south. Absolutely banger of a place.
I love Raising Canes but prefer Layne's Chicken Fingers in Texas. They're very similar.
The forks are over near where you make your drink! They're next to the lids where the salt and pepper packets are 😂
They also have a Honey Mustard dipping sauce that they don't advertise on the menu ❤
Also, you can get the Toast with Butter on Both Sides, which makes it sooooo much better.
FRIES and Chicken Sandwich
As an employee of Raising Cane's, I'm glad you enjoyed it. ( The sauce is mayo, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and spices)
So there's no horseradish in the sauce? I hate being surprised by horseradish. I'll have to try it!
@@sherryjoiner396 your safe😁
I usually just wrap my chicken tender in a piece of toast and dip it in my sauce! So yum! 😋
Raising Canes is always consistent where KFC is very hit and miss.
The last two times I went to Cane's, the chicken "fingers" were the size of nuggets. Half the size seen in this video. Not worth the money.
I never get the actual sandwiches. I just make a "taco" out of what they give you.
Lol... well it's about time you two finally tried some Raising Cane's fast food, what took you so long !
Went through a stint where I ate Raising Canes at least once a week for like 2 months when they opened in my city (Pittsburgh, pa).. I ate it so much I got sick of it 🤮 but this video made me crave a sandwich and the bread😭💯
Never heard of Raising Canes. Food looked good though.
When you notice Napoleon Dynamite staring at you…
Their chicken is never frozen, the original location is outside the gates of Louisiana State University, is still one of the busiest locarions
