There are very few players that transcend the game in monumental ways. Curry is the modern era epitome of that..he took Steve Nash energy and vision, Reggie Miller, Ray Allen spot shooting, Iverson handles, Stockton tenacity and grit, Jordan and Kobe killer instinct and combined it into one person and made it his own..his game is original and has changed the NBA as we know it..no one since Jordan has done that, not even LeBron or Kobe

What makes this so impressive for me is that he excels at things that could only be improved with training and hardwork. He isn't born with prodigal talent nor monstrous traits, he simply improved the things that he could to unfathomable levels.

It really is we can really say that its not a lucky shot. It really shows that he do shoot at that range and he can make those shots and thats make it looks really good.
What puts it over the top his how well he shot the rest of that game. He single handedly kept GS in it in the second half with one impressive three after another.
That shot against OKC in 2016 made Curry and automatic NBA LEGEND. That game was the absolute BEST reg season game I've ever seen. It felt just like a playoff game. Curry was a GOD. And he WON that game on a HURT ANKLE. Just amazing.
no one ever talks about the shoot he made in that game at the halftime buzzer. He did it right after the refs had to break the teams up. It was one of the best "got your ass" moments I've ever seen

People talk about him being the best shooter, but imo he should be put into all-time great PG conversations already. He is regarded as a score first PG so people overlook his playmaking skills, that's also because he is not the traditional ball-dominant PG. His strength is his off-ball game, his teammates get 10+ easy buckets per game because of it, but it won't show in stats. He is constantly double-teamed in *off-ball* game, that's crazy. Their core and their system are what they are because of him, therefore it is safe to say that superstars choose to join them because of him. Unfortunately his off-ball impact on the floor is so overlooked that when he goes 1-10 from the three people think he had a bad game, whereas stat monsters get individual awards and are put into all-time great conversations easier.
Such as Harden having horrible efficiency even though his stats are padded. Because of the padded stats he might steal the mvp from Giannis or Curry, which I don't believe he should. I need Curry to get a third MVP since he gave a championship away to Lebron
@@doriangraiye8588 Ehm, not the biggest fan of Harden, but Harden has a true shooting percentage of 61,8, which translates into being in the top twenty in efficiency. Considering the lack of quality around him at the moment because of injuries (especially in comparison to Steph) and his usage rate that's pretty amazing. Westbrook's TS% for example is 48,0 and Kobe in 06 was 55,9. Harden is devastingly efficient at what he does, it's just not fun to watch.
@@lulumatthewiosi179 Thank you for that. I'm a fan of lefty #13. I'm also actually bashing the new system D'Antoni has placed for Harden and his teammates. Harden sometimes sacrifices his defensive energy to put into offense instead. It's pretty much a one man 4 out system with Capela pick n roll sometimes for the most part. This system does work for them and the rules do too, especially for Harden's play... But the amount of time Harden has the ball in hand and leading it to a score is not as efficient as Curry in 3 quarters, yet Harden will probably win the MVP for playing more and having the ball more with more attempts = higher or equal points. That's what I meant about padded stats. Rockets offense revolves around him as if it's a one on one game and then a kick out would happen if he attracts a double-team or doesn't see himself finishing or getting fouled. Lastly, sorry for saying "horrible" efficiency. TS% is def a factor.
